Sobre este jogo

The larger than life action of Lost Planet 2, comes to PC! Lost Planet 2 is the sequel to Lost Planet™: Extreme Condition, the landmark third-person shooter which debuted on Xbox 360 and went on to sell over 2.3 million units worldwide after its release. Lost Planet 2 offers deeper insight into the world of E.D.N III and the uncertain fate of future mankind.
Already acclaimed for its visual accomplishments from the console versions, Lost Planet 2 will define the 3D experience on the PC. Stunning environments will immerse the player in NVIDIA Vision Surround technology, and the rebalanced gameplay and streamlined control mechanics make Lost Planet 2 PC the ultimate Lost Planet experience.
A decade has passed since the events of the first game, and the face of E.D.N. III has changed dramatically. Terraforming efforts have been successful and the ice has begun to melt, giving way to lush tropical jungles and harsh unforgiving deserts. Mankind has engaged in a civil war to take control of the precious Thermal Energy that powers weapons and vehicles on E.D.N. III and resulted in a separation into various factions.
Players will control heroes from each faction across 6 interconnected episodes, viewing the war from the perspective of each, creating a truly unique interactive experience. With this concept, players will have the opportunity to engage in the story in a much more dynamic way as plot threads evolve from different players’ perspectives.
The intense and action-packed campaign mode comes with the ability to form teams of up to 4 players online. Beyond the deep single-player and co-op modes, Lost Planet 2 is loaded with extensive multiplayer modes allowing up to 16 players to compete online, each with their own customizable avatar.
No action game would be complete without an arsenal of weaponry, and Lost Planet 2 has a huge variety of hardware for players to unleash on unsuspecting enemies. Machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, lasers, sniper rifles, grenades and a host of other weapons are scattered across the game. The grappling hooks that made the gameplay in Lost Planet a true 3-D experience are back, allowing gamers to gain tactical advantage by moving to elevated locations quickly.
Lost Planet 2’s biggest weapons come on two legs: the heavily armed and armored robotic Vital Suits return in greater numbers and variety than the first game. There are VS that transform into other vehicles, hold up to three players and some that even take multiple players to operate.

Key Features:

  • Co-op action: Team up to battle the giant Akrid in explosive 4 player online co-operative play. Teamwork is the player’s key to victory as the team is dependent on each other to succeed and survive.
  • Massive scale of enemies: Players skill on the battlefield and ability to work as a team will be tested like never before against the giant Akrid. Players will utilize teamwork tactics, new weapons and a variety of vital suits (VS) to fight these larger-than-life bosses.
  • Beautiful massive environments: Capcom’s advanced graphics engine, MT Framework 2.0, and DirectX 11 support will bring the game to life with the next step in 3D fidelity and performance. See Lost Planet 2’s world through new eyes, with support for hardware tessellation and compute shader.
  • Deep level of character customization: Players will have hundreds of different ways to customize their look, nom de guerre, emotes, and weapons to truly help them define their character on the battlefield. A wide array of customizable abilities range from taking less damage, to running faster to operating data posts quicker
  • Rewards System: Players will receive rewards for assisting teammates and contributing to the team’s success
  • Multiplayer: Compete in 16-player multiplayer matches with nine different maps and 5 different game modes including Data Post Battle, Akrid Egg Battle, Fugitive, Elimination and Team Elimination. Additional maps will be available as downloadable content after the game’s release.
  • Exciting new VS features: Based on fan feedback, the team has implemented an unbelievable variety of Vital Suits and new ways to combat VS’s. The new VS system will have a powerful impact on the way the player takes to the war zone in Lost Planet 2.

An amazing game that I love, and would highly recommend.

Now, we have to move onto the topic of GFWL, which a lot of people have trouble with for some reason.

I highly recommend Creating a microsoft/xbox account BEFORE HAND, AND DOWNLOADING GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE BEFORE HAND, don't be stupid and not download it, and then try to create and download through their service, you're just ♥♥♥♥ing yourself or trying to find a way to hate it.

After your nice account is created, boot up Lost Planet 2, do your settings (make sure to click select to apply them). Then click play, where the apparent nightmare happens, GFWL. So, you already have an account, click log into existing account or whatever it is, type your info (password thing may not show you typing one in, just type it anyways and make sure you have it correct) then click log in.

Now, it should after this tell you there is an update, say yes to it, and when it gives you a profile screen saying you need a profile, press alt f4, exit the game. As behind the game is the update you need to download, click yes, you know, all the stuff. Now, if done correctly, it should now launch the game again, click play, login (highly recommend having it remember everything and logging in automatically), then it should take a while to download your profile, and you should be able to play.

If this doesn't work, then look up other guides.

Other than that, I recommend checking out gameplay before you purchase the game, making sure it's the kind of game you will like. Other than that, have fun with whatever you're doing!

Lost Planet 2 is a good game, however games for windows live is the worst interface to ever be created. Dont purchase this scheme and give microsoft money to recreate the holocaust

I played this game back on the PS3 multiple times over with a buddy of mine years ago and had a wonderful time playing each and every time. The game just had a wondeful feel to it that I didn't find with any other game at the time.

Got the game during the 2016 Summer Sale and has my opinion changed? Not a bit! I'm currently playing with 3 of my good friends and I've having even more fun than I did before. Lost Planet 2 is still absolutely fantastic and just as much fun as I remember it being. Of course, multiplayer is going to be the best part about the game (up to 4 people in a group) so if you have nobody to play it with then maybe this is a game you should pass on, but if you do have friends to play with then I would highly suggest you don't let this game go.
You do need Games for Windows Live, but it's so easy to use that there's no reason for that to be a reason you don't pick this game up. Just install it, boot up the game (you'll need to restart twice) and then you'll be able to play with your buddies to your hearts content! Ignore the people giving the game negative ratings just because it requires GFWL. The game works just fine (currently running on Windows 10).
To wrap things up, Lost Planet 2 is definitely worth the money if you have friends to play it with. I love this game through and through and am very glad that I was able to get the chance to play it with a full group of people.

Definitely one of my favorite games of all time. This game holds one of the best co-op levels ever created and should be played by everyone. There are a few gripes with controls, configuration, and compatibility with windows 10 but the game can still run flawlessly at 120FPS.

One of my favorite 3rd person shooters, and personally, the best entry into the Lost Planet series due to the immense scale of everything. The campaign is lengthy, the character customizer is extensive, and the multiplayer is barely there sadly. This is a game I would play with a group of friends and run through the campaign every once in a while for fun, because this is one of those games I just don't seem to get bored of and can keep on playing for a long time... and I have been since I've bought it on PC and even before that when I had it on PS3, where I put almost a hundred hours into it.

This game would be better if they gave it a small update to remove the windows live, which can still be a bit annoying seeing as it still randomly disconnects me for a reason which I haven't figured out yet.

To this day I await another Lost Planet game that goes back to the formula of this one. Hell... I'd be happy if even a new IP came out that did something as fun as this game. Except with more customization, more weapons, more mech suits, and more enemies, and some better controls and a better camera angle.

It's never late to review a game, especially one such as this.

+Best co-op boss fights you can ever find
+actually challenging on hard mode
+tons of monsters
+underrated (you can be indie and cool you hipster)
+mech suits that are not overpowered

(hard to install the first time, but it still works. Give it a chance, but only if you are playing with someone else; there is no story here, only really awesome levels with great arcade boss fights.

A jogabilidade é praticamente a mesma do primeiro. Tendo terminado-o com um amigo, afirmo que jogá-lo sozinho deve ser realmente um pesadelo, portanto, recomendo o modo cooperativo, afim de evitar repetidos transtornos por conta dos inúteis NPCs.
