Update 1.1

Let there be music!

With the 1.1 update, we added a procedural dynamic soundtrack that will enhance the game immersion and the fear-system.

We also fixed several glitches that affected the game, such as the framerate-dependence of physics simulation and animations.

The new stereo rendering system allows you to have a comfortable experience even at an unstable framerate.

We remind you that with the previous patch we finished porting the game to a new version of the graphic engine and it is able to unleash the true power of your GPU.

Unleash your insanity!

Update 1.09

Hi everyone!
We're back on Insane Decay of Mind, providing a new series of updates.
With the 1.09 patch we finished porting the game to a new version of the graphic engine. In fact, the game can now release the true power from your Nvidia GTX 10XX or AMD RX 4XX gpu: maxing the game settings, you're now able to disable the static lightmaps and render dinamic lights and shadows, even in VR Mode (we recommend a GTX 1070 to have a perfect experience at maximum settings with an HTC Vive or an Oculus Rift). In conclusion, we also fixed several glitches ad improved the model of the "Creeping Shadow".
Have fun!

Anniversary Update

Face the Insanity in this new update that will add new several elements in the Labyrinth. Are you able to escape it?

About This Game

The Story

Insane Decay of Mind: The Labyrinth is a first person horror game. You play the role of Katherine, a young girl lost in the eerie hallways of a building she believes to be her school.
As she begins to realise that this labyrinth that she has found herself in, is slowly warping her mind; She must make her escape in order to regain her freedom.
But freedom comes at tremendous cost.
Leaving the labyrinth is not as easy as it seems as you are not alone, there are entities that wish to keep you from escaping.
During your dreadful experience, you will meet beings called "Shadows", manifestations of your worst nightmares; you will have to subdue them as you continue wandering the darkness that envelopes you and, perhaps, you will achieve your freedom.

Why is the Game Named This?

Insanity is undoubtedly the main element: represented by the Shadow, it will encompass the entire story, haunt every frame, perhaps even disturb you own mind.
It is from insanity, from foolishness, that the decay of mind begins.
The only way to oppose this deterioration is to piece together the fragments of Katherine's story; they are hidden in the vast maze in which you find yourself, look for them very carefully.
