Why Early Access?

“It may sound unbelievable but we have been developing the game for more than 5 years so far. Quite a lot of time right? We had a lot of ups and downs during that time and even gave up a few times.

For the last 10 months we have been fully focused on finally bringing the experience to life. We feel that it is the right time to get a real feedback from players to find out if it was all worth it.

Even in the current development state, everything in the game is subject to change. We will be updating the game on a regular basis and mainly, we will be listening to your comments and will do our best to adjust the experience according to your feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Grenade Madness to be in development as an Early Access for one year presumably. The final release should come sometime in Q1 2017.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As stated in the answer below, we have a lot to add to the game, including game modes, weapons, maps and other content. We feel that we can make a lot better game with your help so the final result will be largely affected your feedback during the Early Access phase.

Beside new content and the gameplay adjustments we plan to create a whole new customizable character, which the game surely deserves and also better AI so you can enjoy the game even if there are no players online. Also we plan to create an in-game map editor.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Grenade Madness will now be available as an early access game, because it is still under development. It is fully playable, however. Right now the game contains one mode, but the gameplay, we invented gives us a plenty of space for experimenting with many different modes. As we will be finishing the game, we would be very thankful for the steam community feedback. It will help us not only as an evaluation of how the game should look like, but also as a motivation.

As for the other content, such as weapons, power-ups and maps - a vast amount of it is already available in the game as it will be in the final release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not intend to change the price but as we will be shipping the new content and features (during and after Early Access), it could change.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will share our project roadmap on the community forum, with the ability to vote on each feature you want to see us focus on next. We will also do our best to interact with the community via the forum and publish notes each time we release an update.”
