Sophorian civilization has been long looking for other sentient races in space in order to integrate them into their own society. However, that has not come without dissensions among the Sophorians, and sometimes very violent conflicts. In the recent past two huge attacks had occurred that threatened the whole civilization. The first one struck the government. The second one struck the Sophorian army. But was there a connection between those attacks, and will history repeat itself over and over until there’s no civilization left?

It has now been a year since a devastating EMP wave left one of the largest cities broken and disconnected. A lot of labour and resources went into restoring the city over the course of the year, but it appears things are not about to settle down yet.

Adrial and his team of allies have been caught in another attack - but who is attacking this time and what are their motives? It is now up to you to assemble your allies, uncover this scheme, expose the enemy, and stop them before their actions magnify into catastrophic proportions.

Get three games for the price of one! Incitement 1 & 2 are, and always will be, freeware!

Nice Sci-fi RPG, great soundtrack and smooth controls.

Great game to take on holiday when playing on an old laptop.

Ignore my time spent in game data because I have started with the first two games in the series. Since all 3 are part of the same purchase I can safely say that these are amongst the best of RPG Maker games. The space-themed plot is well worked and interesting, grind is fairly minimal for this type of thing, and the fact you are getting three for one makes this a worthy purchase at its full price and a must-buy when discounted for all but the most staunch RPGM haters in terms of hours of enjoyment for your money.

(NB. Incitement and Incitement 2 can be found by right clicking your Incitement 3 install>properties>browse files and either activating them from there or just pulling the shortcuts)

This was a pretty good little game. Each part of the series (there are three games, all of which are included with the download and the first two of which are also available free elsewhere on the web) took about 6 hours, giving you a little under 20 hours of gameplay.

The only thing I really didn't like about the game is that enemy health is not displayed, but I suppose that makes it more realistic.

The characters were good, the writing was decent, the storyline is both unique and interesting. Overall a good game, and well worth the $0.89 I got it for on sale.

Okay, so I just finished the game under 10 hours and I have to say, although it wasn't my typical preference of RPG it was nonetheless really good in my eyes. The plot is there, the characters are well thought out, and the gameplay is pretty good. Even the music is pretty good (I loved the Subway scene's music). I only wish it didn't have to end so quickly honestly. Your characters basically max out at level 20, which is a little disappointing but I get it.

My only real qualm was the missions near the end. Once you complete the mission you're not allowed to go back into the area. I don't really see why this is, but it's kind of aggravating if you missed any chests. Overall I'd still give it an 8/10. Play on!

Incitement 3 is one of the better, if not one of the best, RPG Maker titles that you can purchase on Steam.
The story was interesting and well-written. The maps had unique and interesting designs.
It was well worth the buck or less that I purchased it for.

I thought i would hate playing this old school 2d rpg and the only reason i started playing was because of the trading cards. Im actually kind of digging this game. Fun rpg aspect, nice story line and hidden quests. Also the shop on your space ship is called THC, thats a big win in my books. :D

I will say this though, $9 is a hefty price to pay for a 2d game, i could buy a AAA title that is a few years old with $9.
Wait untill they drop the price or untill its on special if you plan on buying this game.

Other then that, not a bad little 2d game to kill time.

This was my first RPGmaker game and while I was hesitant at first it turned out to be great and I've bought a few more since. Challenge mode is where you want to be to get the most out the game but normal is still enjoyable and don't miss out on Incitement 1 and 2 which are included in the purchase so be sure to look them up in the Incitement 3 folder. Have fun!

Another interesting science fiction game from this developer. I played the first two parts and the third one is the most cool. I liked the story written without mistakes, the achievments so overall impression is positive. I just dont understand, why unly 3,8% of people got the first achievement, you have to play this game, just try it and you will like it for sure..Thanks for it and good luck!

I've started from the part 3 (I kinda missed the fact the parts 1 and 2 are included as well)
and it was awesome!
Both gameplay and story are more than decent. Since I've played quite a bunch of RPG Maker titles my expectations are mostly pretty low, however this time I felt pretty invested and I was pretty happy about those 6 hours of cool ideas. Unfortunatelly there is almost no guide through the game's basics and some of the main characters are a wasted opportunity. Neverthless I am so glad I could play this game - even though it's main 9$ bucks are pointless and ons should probably just wait for some salel or a bundle.

The opposite of Excitement.

You know you've been too long in the rpgmaker ghetto when you start using phrases like "well, the game balance is actually not terrible." It's not, and Incitement 3 could have a worse story. Its polish is not strictly awful so long as you don't think about words like "art assets" or "custom tilesets", and for fifty cents or so it's got a pretty okay gameplay to money spent ratio.

But it is a cartoonishly stock rpgmaker title with cludgy attempts at custom portraits and too-bright colors for the somewhat confused utopia/dystopia that it's trying to portray. Its plot follows a continuity that you're probably not invested in, and its combat system is the precursor to the surprisingly good one in City of Chains.

All in all, it's pretty safe to give this game a miss. You won't be kicking yourself for buying it like you would with Data Hacker, because the team involved with Incitement 3 seems like they a) care about improving, and b) care about making a non-awful product, but you could put the fifty cents you'd spend here towards City of Chains and be happier for it.

I bought the Astronomic Game bundle for this game. In fact there are 3 and the two first ones are in the app folder

Apparently there is a way to skip all battles from the game. But I would't do that as a lot of battles have comments and story dialogs.

I do love the fact that for that sci-fi trilogy we get to see the alien point of view towards humanity integration to alien civilisations. But unfortunately, it seems humanity brought its lot of contagious chaos along.

If the engine of that game seems restrictive, it is for the best as from story to story (game to game) the developper maxed out its possibilities in a way that even when we are nit-picky, we have no choice to be caught by the rythm, ingeniosity, story, characters ... and almost non characters in the furniture department. We might had wished for more this or that from other engines, we still get caught by Hesper's hacking prowess, Anku's driving skills, Darmek's Swartzenneggerisms and Bron's 10%!

Seriously, if you like your classics give it 3 tries!
