Even though Civilization V is out there, this game is still very playable, very enjoyable and could actually rival with Civilization V in terms of depth.

A must have for every fan of strategic games.

Pre-Release Review
Just one... more... turn...

Seriously, I can't count the number of nights I ended up playing until dawn. Its so addictice and so good, and I'm not even a particularly big fan of turn based games!

So addictive that if I keep it downloaded on my computer I will start playing it every time I see the shortcut, even if I'm currently playing another game.

Don't be fooled by the time Steam shows. I owned for a long time on CD Rom and uninstalled it because it was too fantastically addictive. Now it's on Steam, I've bought it and played it yet again, had to unistall again and I keep wanting to redownload it so I can hear the screams of other civilizations as I crush them.

Must resist. I have other games to play. But one day I will reinstall and the screams will haunt my homestead again.
