About This Game

Have you had enough of pointless & boring "simulator" ripoffs? It's about time someone made a simulator that's actually a game you can enjoy. Prepare to restore you faith in the simulator games, GameIndica Entertainment brings you the next best simulator since the simulator genre was born.

Predator Simulator is an action arcade RPG packed with endless gameplay and new missions for every game session. On a quest to become a true Lionborn, you get to save the planet by wiping out humanity from the face of the earth. Yeah.... didn't you always want to do that anyway? Now is your chance!

Explore the wild countryside while enjoying fresh farm raised pigs, rooster & chicken wings. Reach the human populated city to start your manhunt and climb up the defcon levels. Eat anything that moves because that what a predator does to survive. Tasty and weak human prey will get you big rewards, but be careful, too much chaos will attract the hunters! You will be classified as a Predaterrorist and face heavy resistance. Be prepared for the worst. Unlock the hidden uncharted territory outside the game world by becoming a true Lionborn, where you can find secret journal entries from the game developer. We hope you will enjoy knowing more about the back story of this game and how it was made.

+ Play as an apex predator AKA a lion.
+ Funniest part of the game is the Advanced AI system with real-time Predator-Prey simulation. Unarmed preys will try to run for their lives, armed hunters will try to hunt you down. Although getting them scared will make it easy to hunt them. Various scaring tactics can be used (ex. Attack from hidden corners or behind, jump scare them, roar at them, eat someone in front of them etc)
+ Kill various species depending on your own humanitarian or animal loving bias.
+ There are hipsters, rednecks, donut loving cops, cosplayers and even console peasants in the city.
+ Live tweets from your poor, whining victims
+ After hunting your prey, eat them and listen to the sweet bone crushing musical notes. It never gets old.
+ Defcon levels work like wanted levels in any open world game. The higher you get, the more bonuses you get but the game becomes more difficult.
+ Tons of characters to unlock as you play. Bigger rewards for hunting down higher level victims.
+ Powerful roar to scare everyone around you. Once you become a true Lion born by acquiring the glorious Fus-Roar-Duh skill, roars become lethal.
+ Xbox Controller support.

Predator Simulator is an 'action arcade RPG' game from GameIndica Entertainment. In PS you are a lion on a mission to become 'lionborn' and rid the Earth of humanity. As you kill more animals and people you'll get higher defcon levels which eventually leads soldiers to try and kill you.

+Decent graphics
+Simple controls (M&KB)
+Quite a few different 'enemies' to hunt
+Once you have got a few kills under your belt civilians will flee from you, sometimes even soldiers run away
+You can unlock upgrades with one of the currencies you collect

-It's made entirely from assets found in Unity Asset packs, take from that what you will
-Extreme lack of content, I'd seen everything that's in the game within 25 minutes
-The game has a twitter feed style interface which displays 'jokes', the jokes get repetitive almost instantly and I found a few of them somewhat offensive
-Despite what the dev says on the store page this is about as far from a simulator as you could possibly get, it's just another jokey simulator except it's not funny
-The screaming sound effect gets irritating very quickly
-Some things don't even soundeffects, such as gunshots
-Animations are awful and for some creatures, particularly chickens, the animations don't work
-It's riddled with graphic bugs and glitches
-It feels like a iOS game, especially with the two currency system
-One of the currencies is seemingly useless
-You lose health if you don't eat enough which is a good idea but the health bar goes down very quickly
-Not much in the way of environmental interaction
-Only one map which is not only incredibly small but as far as I'm aware it's an unedited map from a Unity asset pack
-Most importantly I did not have fun playing it

Don't buy it.

Predator Simulator is a clear attempt at making a game similar to Goat Simulator but sadly it falls flat in a ridiculous number of ways. Unless this gets some major content added and gets its issues fixed I simply cannot recommend this game.

Mini Review. Will update later. Swapped to 'negative' for now. Check comments.
One map containing a smallish sized city. Objectives generally involved killing something, complete that and receive another mission. Gradually the 'DEFCON' level raised which increased both amounts and types of enemies that spawned. Killing stuff rewarded gold and gems which could be used for purchasing new enemies, seemed a bit strange.
More then a few issues with the spawn systems. Sometimes things would vanish, other times stuff just went crazy and stretched everywhere upon devouring it. Need to keep eating things to keep your health level up otherwise you died. After death you can respawn on the same quest (rather then restarting) by using some of the gems collected. Sound was dodgy or amusing, whichever way you look at it, male bums constantly screamed like girls for example. Control wise I actually preferred the kb+mouse but gamepad and keyboard were both fine.

Overall it feels a bit on the cheap side and price should be lower. Won't be hours of fun here, just a short 10-20min bash every now and then to release your inner lion. Small price drop, few tweaks and maybe another level or two in future would go a long way. Will vote up because stuff can be fixed and prices adjusted, but it would certainly be a "sideways" thumb for now if steam had the option.. Cheers folks and happy gaming. :)

Okay, So imagine that those guys you hate at tumblr or twitter or whatever made a game using unity assets, and well not a very good one.

So the game is really bad, I am not even joking I got an actual headache playing it but I had to continue playing it to make a fair review, and trust me the time I have is more than enough for this game.

About the game
There isn't much to say.
You basically spawn in your lion cave or whatever I don't know the proper term, then you get quests to do.
They can be either kill xx of this character or eat xx of this or survive for xx or find xx gems or stars, thats it.
I dislike the "Characters" button on main-menu, made me think that they're characters I can unlock and play with later but turns out nope, they're just characters that appears on map after you reach higher defcon level.

- you can turn off blood and gore in game options, if that type of thing turns you off from a game

- The Map
Its really small and you can explore all of it in about 20 seconds, you cannot interact with the objects that you see such as cars and buildings and what not, the only things you can touch is the bear-traps, fire hydrants and .. well people and animals, the design is not bad it looks good and well placed but just limited and too small.

I already explained quests but as for controls they're not bad, easy to move and understand.
You basically have to eat things to stay alive which is stupid because your hp drops at a high rate so you need to keep eating which is boring and takes time and just .... a pain in the rear.
Left click to attack, right click to eat, shift to sprint and alt to "roar".
You get gems and gold after finishing quests which you can use to unlock upgrades.
To make your stamina which you need to run and roar lasts longer, or to make your health decreases at a lower rate, eat faster or run faster, basically around 6 or 8 forgot, not gonna launch the game again to find out ... nope.
and at later defcon levels soldiers appears with guns and shoots you, and not in a cool way.

lame game content
I really did not like how the devs tried to make this game as hipsteristic as possible, yeah I just made this word up its an upgrade of "Hipster".
You keep playing then the citizens "tweets" stuff like -> ' Does it blind ? ' with lenny's face, or "#Fml dropped my phone on the toilet " OR " in russia predators drinks vodka '
You know the typical internet fad bs comments that you see that are slightly funny but seriously overused.
And the character description "Console peasant " And what not is just not necessary and lame to be honest, sorry for being so harsh but gotta stay honest
I also disliked how the characters spawns from under or next to you, looks so buggy.
Also when you die you can respawn by spending gems which is lame because thats an Ios game feature ....*sigh*

So basically after 10 minutes you can understand everything in the game, it gets so repetitive and gives you no actual reason to carry on with it so you'll probably alt+f4 after 20 minutes.

- Good controls.
- Game looks good and the design is not bad.
- ..... uh .. thats it ?

- no actual content to carry on with
- completely boring after 20 minutes.
- the characters keep screaming nonstop and makes you mute it.
- buggy character spawns and a lot of bugs in the game.
- Missing features that could'v made the game worth while such as Cards and achievements.

Seriously, if you have 5.99$ and want to waste it and hate yourself for it then get this game, a 57mb download and 2 minutes of fun and the rest is agony.

I honestly think they could'v made the game price 0.99$, MAYBE then it would have been worth downloading.

Absolutely awful. Terrible models, horrible music and sounds, the constant screaming of the townspeople is one of the more annoying noises I've heard. I would rather listen to an orchestra of forks scraping teeth and fingernails filing away at chalkboards that spend any more time listening to the incessant screaming that becomes louder and more frequent the longer you play. Gameplay is boring and redundant. Stupidest game I've ever played.

Another bad simulator game.
The constant screaming in the background is annoying, the area is small and doesnt spawn characters smoothly or evenly. Its also buggy, you can often see black polygons dancing in the screen when you eat the people.

Well, this is my first review, ever. Additionally, English is not my native language, so please bear with me ;)

Predator Simulator Review

You play a "Predator" and attack and eat animals and people with no real goal, except reaching a high score/"Defcon level".
To survive, you have to constantly kill and eat to fill your health. Later, you also have to avoid or fight hunters that want to put an end to your killings.

You can "roar" to stun (or later damage) anything around you, run, attack & eat. Very basic but enough though I'd love to be able to "jump" once in a while.
There are 2 "quests" active at any time which range from "Kill/Eat X of something" up to "Collect X stars" or "Survive X minutes". Those quests - when fulfilled - reward gems and gold. Gold can also be aquired by killing/eating pretty much everything. Gems are used to unlock upgrades and the gold is used to improve them, afterwards.
By killing and eating or collecting Stars, your "Defcon level" raises which means you are a higher threat. At some points, new people will walk around the town and stronger hunters will appear.

The game "ends" when your health bar is depleted though you can continue by investing some gems.

  • Funny idea
  • Easy controls
  • Graphics are OK for a casual game

  • The area you play in is ridiculously small - I mean: Come one! One forest, one small town... that's it?!
  • Graphics are glitchy like hell, I've been thrown 100m in the air, walked around with the prey in my mouth and more! This is actually very funny but I still have to list it as a "con"
  • At least one quest is seriously: Collecting X stars often doesn't count the stars.
  • Stars are extremely rare/hard to spot (some "map" would have been useful - call it "instinct" for "realism" and you're done ;))
  • The sounds are repetitive and extremely annyoing
  • The skills' costs are totally unbalanced, also, there is not much use for gems after you unlocked everything
  • Spawns are unbalanced, too. After some time, there are almost only hunters and "Kill 15 supporters" is almost impossible.

I got this game for free and for that "price", it's OK.
Otherwise, I can only "recommend" to get this game if you like trashy games and if it's on sale and there's no way that I can recommend the current version of the game otherwise.

BTW: when maxing all abilities, you can read "AWESOM" - well, where's the "E"? ;)

I mean, the game is KINDA fun, for 15 minutes. Then, you start seeing all of the engine bugs (bodies are elastic, you can get stuck in some places on the map), it starts to get boring and repetitive as you increase in "DEFCON" level (which only add new characters to the map, most of them not following the same art style as the others; that irks me on SO many levels), you start seeing the same unfunny memes over and over (why would you add that anyway?) and you max out all of your stuff.

I mean for the less-than $0.30 I bought this for, it's OK, but definitely not worth the $6 asking price.

Nice fun quick game if you just want a little fun killing either humans or animals in cartoon format.

Stupid point behind this game is that you have to reset in order to NOT spend blue crystals so you can then much later on get perks that allow you to stay in the game and have a little more fun. But to do so would take a long time to complete.

i think i have manged to get completing the quests about 25 blue crystals if your lucky.

Your lion dies by heath really its a time meter another stupid fact.

You roam around killing people / animals the more you do so the more that will spawn but i have only managed to kill 2 at one time.

This game sucks. Nothing else to it. If you enjoy bad mobile games with bad controls and bad sounds which will produce copious amount of blood from the ear holes, then go ahead and get this game. Otherwise you would be better off killing yourself.

I guess it's TECHNICALLY a game. But I don't recommend anyone ever play this. The entire game can be summed up in the first 10 minutes of playing.

No.... Just.. Just no... This game really isn't too great. First off, we die when we haven't even done anything. And trust me, this isn't only going to happen once or twice, this happens literally every two ♥♥♥♥ing minutes. I actually tried to make it for more than two minutes, but the ♥♥♥♥ing fighting mechanic is garbage, worse than the 2015 Godzilla game, but this is just ♥♥♥♥. The only thing wrong in that game was the fighting mechanic, but seriously, this game is even worse. Why can we only be a lion? What about a tiger, or a leopard? Hell, why not even the Predator himself? That's the reason I bought this game. Can we please get a decent simulator that isn't a ripoff of Goat Simulator? If you're looking for a game where you play as a predator, this isn't the one to buy. I might've thought this might've been that mobile game where you could play as animals from Africa and dinosaurs like Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, etc. But no, of course it wasn't... Just don't buy this, it's not worth the three dollars. Now come to think of it, I'm sure the budget of this game IS only three dollars.

A game where you play as a lion and prey on things? Sounds fun... If it is done right that is. Sadly it isn't and here's why:

- There is a bad art style inconsistancy that comes off as annoying after a while. Think of it as an ice cream sundae with onion bits and raisins in it. Both have a sweet flavor, but they should not be together. Realistic lions, stylized animals, and anime people should not be togther unless done right (See SSB4).

- Game models tend to glitch up like cartridge tilting in 007 Golden Eye.

- Memes... Why did there have to be memes in this game? The game is doomed to be dated and ridiculed for it.

- Basic video game 101: When the player dies and respawns, they should be taken to a danger-free point or given invincibility for a brief time. This game lacks that and many lives were wasted.

- Missions start out easy and then the system flat out slows down to a snail's pace due to bad programming. For example, there is a mission where you have to collect 3 stars. Not only they were hard to find, any star collected after star 1 did not count. The Stormtroopers for their associated mission rarely appear. The toughest enemy in the game appeared more often before I reached the halfway point. This causes problems with getting lives and upgrades.

- Missions resemblr those MMORPG missions that seem tedious. Lame!

- The game is just flat out too repetative.

Even if you love the idea of playing a big cat, do not buy this game.
