Varför Early Access?

“This model allows us to build the game you want while making sure we stay on track. We designed the game to be flexible enough to include your own suggestions and still stay true to our vision. Therefore we need your support and feedback but, you should NOT buy this game unless you like the concept and want to help developing it.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Shrooms is growing at a steady pace but there's still a lot of work to do before going full release. We really want to get the core mechanics right and some important content is still missing so, for now, we don't have a release date for the final version. When the game is "feature complete" and everyone is enjoying a reasonably complete experience we will call it done.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“Shrooms will have each of it's core features implemented in waves in the Early Access phase.
During this stage of the development there's going to be nasty bugs that will need squashing, so bring your BIG boots.
We intend to reach a "place of comfort" with each mechanic before the end of the Early Access, so the Full release will be a healthy and shinny Shrooms that is ready to be grown with regular bug-free updates!”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Some core mechanics are still in development and others need polish so expect bugs and incomplete gameplay. What we have so far is the mutation system and the basis of the AI and crafting system to get a sense of the combat and progression. We are now focusing on adding the remaining features like the dynamic construction and gear, tinker with whats in place and add the requiired content to answer our needs for the game experience we want to accomplish. Visually some animations, textures and effects need work but we are gradually fine tuning them to create the extravagant world of Shrooms.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Price may change. We have all the intentions to participate in sales during and after Early Access. When the game is ready the pricing will reflect the quality of the final product. This is also a way to reward early adopters for their support granting us a stable development.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We'll be closely monitoring every discussion groups and participate to address any concerns and quickly fix, change or add anything with a reasonably time frame and scope to improve the overall experience. We also want your feedback and suggestions to prioritize and include the features that makes Shrooms your game too.”
