What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Alebound is my very first game project, and launching in Early Access gives me the opportunity to grow alongside the game. I want to actively improve and expand Alebound over time, using feedback from the community to shape new features, refine gameplay, and create a more polished experience. Early Access allows me to stay connected with players while gaining the experience I need to make Alebound the best it can be.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Alebound will remain in Early Access until it reaches the level of polish and content I envision for a full release. My expected end-date of development will be end of Q1 of 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Alebound is planned to expand upon the core gameplay introduced in Early Access. Over time, I hope to add more power-ups, enemy types, and potentially additional playable characters to offer more variety and depth. My goal is to continue improving the game based on feedback, experimenting with new ideas, and refining the experience to make Alebound as fun and replayable as possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Alebound includes the core gameplay loop, with fast-paced combat and wave-based survival. There are over a dozen working power-ups that allow for multiple build combinations, giving players room to experiment with different playstyles. At this stage, enemy variety is limited, with scaling difficulty applied to existing enemies, but the foundation is in place for future content like new enemy types and additional features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price will not change.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a big role in shaping Alebound’s future. I plan to gather input through Steam discussions, social media, and player reviews to help guide balance changes, feature additions, and overall improvements. Since this is my first game project, I’m especially eager to hear what players enjoy (or don’t), so I can keep refining the experience and growing alongside the game.”
