The Nürburgring-Nordschleife

Since its construction (1925 - 1927), the Nordschleife has enjoyed a reputation as a terrifying and merciless route through the Eifel forests. An English journalist who visited the Nordschleife during the opening race on 18 June 1927 even concluded “that it seemed as if a reeling, drunken giant had been sent out to determine the route”. The Formula 1 pilot Sir John Young Jackie Stewart – after all a three-time world champion in 1969, 1971 and 1973 – was so impressed by the circuit that he gave it the name which it will probably never lose: Green Hell (Grüne Hölle).
Racing and winning on the Nordschleife has always been very special for racing drivers, because the track is one of the most demanding in the world. Tricky corners, treacherous crests, steep inclines and gradients and constantly changing road surfaces demand great skill from the driver and put vehicles to a hard test.
The best-known event today is the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race, which is held on both the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit and which for four days transforms the entire circuit into a huge spectacle. Up to 800 amateurs and professionals in up to 200 cars take part in this race.

Holy crap, this is amazing! Rocking that P1 through the "Green Hell" makes me wanna be rich - but I don't need to be rich cause I have this game.

10/10 - No comparison to Project Cars.

Not sure where to start

£10 for the first laserscan of greenhell. Ill start at that. Its the longest track which people care about, it has a bucket loads of history, this track alone took over two years to create and the level of detail is crazy. The support phone lines for the track are even on the track.

Then there are the cars, ten of them in total all catering for different car fans.

Alfa romeo gta: 1960s monster of a car, not a lot of people thought that they would like it however its an instant win.
Alfa romeo 4C: Carbon tub, 240bhp, lightweight, amazing
Alfa romeo 155 DTM: The dtm cars two decades ago were awesome, so much varients and techniques all so that people could try and win, also first 4wd car in AC which is nice as well.
BMW M235iracing: Everyone loves the E30 M3, this is a send back to that car, its blissful.
Mclaren P1: This car is brutal, blow your face off acceleration and you will be required to be awake and in form if you want to control this properly.
Mclaren F1 GTR: A le mans legend, i dont really need to say more, this car is just something else.
Mercedes Sauber C9: Another le mans legend in the best generation of race cars, its hellish to drive but when you get the hang of it then its awesome, until you realise the turbo is at 50%, it needs to be at 100%.
Mercedes 190E DTM: Another DTM car to pair up againest the E30 and the 155, it can result in some wicked races.
Nismo GTR GT3: This car, its a behemoth, no other car in GT3 has such a presence and no other car stands a chance in a straight line.
Corvette C7 GTE: An american car which is bad because its american.

Overall you cant go wrong with this pack, there is car within this pack just everyone, for all generations of car lovers, the sheer level of detail is outstanding, for the money its an instant win for anyone that owns AC and anyone that loves cars in general.

I can't find any words for this DLC other than perfect...So I guess it's called "dream pack" for a reason after all.

So Kunos...not only have you created the best sim ever, you've also made it as my favourite devs ever, and I thank you for it. Every last cent spent on this game was worth it. <3 :D

As for everyone else, buy this, BUY IT NAOUGHW! You won't regret it, I can guarantee you that! :D

I thought I knew simracing before I got Assetto Corsa. I was lying to myself.
AC breathes, sleeps and craps simracing through its every pore.
I can keep on going like this until I am blue in the face, but what follows should put all doubt out of your mind:

1. If you want a realistic driving / racing sim - get Assetto Corsa. Other sims are not bad and there may even be some that looks better (slightly), but if you want to even get close to feeling what it may be like to drive a Nissan Nismo GT3 car around Spa you won't find another title that gives you the same thrills and spills.

2. This sim will PUNISH you if rock up with the wrong gear. This is specifically mentioned in the PRO's section because it's a good thing. If you don't believe it to be a good thing...go play Need for Speed or Forza on the XBox. This is not for you. You CAN drive any car you want on any track you wish with the mouse, keyboard or handheld does not mean that you should and it certainly does not mean that you should expect to get the same thrills. Period.

3. It's got a wide variety of different cars that all sound very destinct when in cockpit view.

4. The setup process for any car can either be daunting or easy...depending on the car. Some cars offer massive customisation, others dont. If you want to squeeze every bit of performance out of a car you will have free reign to play around with everything from downforce to tire pressures...camber settings to ride heights. And you can easily feel and detect the small differences each of those adjustments have made if you put the time in to know a car and the track.

5. With a beefy graphics card in your machine (which is not necesarily needed to enjoy it) you can experience absolutely stunning race day graphics with almost no noticable lag or frame drops. Even on lesser GPU's you can still steak teh settings to get a reasonable looking experience that wont detract too much from the experience. It says a lot about the optomisation Kunis has done.

6. There's a very large modding community for this title. Tracks, new cars and in-sim apps are constantly released that enhances the experience. There's actually some apps and HUD elements you MUST install to fully appreciate a great online racing experience.

7. This title rewards you for getting good. It punishes you for getting "rekt" and "rekking" others.

1. Not all mods are good. Look for the ones with good reviews and large amounts of downloads.

2. Inevitably you will learn to accept that some people are just not suited to sims like this...expecially when you venture online. You will find yourself passing a driver and then a clip from behind will see you in a wall...effectively ending your race. And there's lots of those nitwitts online.

3. This title will drain your life away if you are a racing fan. And even worse so when joining a racing league.

See? Even the cons aren't really something Kunos did wrong!

For that...YOU can't go wrong getting this.

After about 5 hours trying to finish one lap of Nurburgring, I am now having flashbacks and can't get to sleep at night. I keep getting haunting images of me flying off the track and into each and every barrier, not to mention wrecking cars that cost millions of dollars.

I've had to get my old nightlight out to help me sleep. I keep thinking I see monsters in the shape of Nurburgring. All the cracks in the ceiling look like Nurburgring. When I dream it's about Nurburgring. When I get up in the morning the first thing I think of is Nurburgring.

12/10, would Nurburgring again.

Joking aside, this is just awesome. The detail in the track surface is incredible, and the force feedback will blow your mind. You can feel every little bump and dip in the road through your wheel, and it redifines the term "white knuckled racing".

I very rarely get tense in driving games, because I find them quite relaxing and easy to play. Nurburgring changes that. I had my very first, literal, white-knuckled-hair-raising experience with this.

It's just beautiful.

The question is, is it worth 15 bucks?

You get 10 cars on top of a laser scanned Nurburgring. Nismo GTR, McLaren P1, McLaren F1 GTR, Corvette C7... what more could you want?

Please. Just stop thinking and buy the damn DLC pack, k?

Nurburgring-Nordschleife map + 10 cars for this price. Why not. Ubisoft would take 29.99€ and everybody would buy it. I love the track and details.

This DLC is the must-have-add-on for A.C. The Nordschleife is the best race track ever built, an unforgiving beauty. The devs put so much effort in this track, it´s alone worth the investment. The contained cars are also masterpieces on their own, espeacially the EVO. Assetto Corsa without this DLC is only half the fun. Add to Cart!

I just bought this pack for only Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II.
10 years ago, my father used to have that car. He had never let me drive it because that was rare 80's classic car which had really powerful engine and had no traction control, esp or any other safety tech. It was for old school drivers, not for young and inexperienced person. Whatever, then he sold it and I have never driven it until i bought this pack. Now i can experience my dream without any concern. When I let my father to drive it, we had an emotional outburst together :) It feels really great.

Sum up, I strongly recommend this pack. Also other cars are great. This pack will make you happy.

Drive safe!
