This game is a perfect example of "easy to learn, hard to master". I'm loving and hating it at the same time, because to be honest, i am kinda bad at this, but it's fun nontheless. I'm doing my dailyrun nearly everyday, just to be beat my friends score :>

And it's kinda addicting:
You run, you die, "this is my last try", you run, you die, "this is my last try", you run, you die.... you get the idea ;)

This game has nice retro visuals, which remind me of the good old SNES games.

I would recommend this to everyone who liked runners like Canabalt, Vector or Bit.trip.

<<An Indie Gem, with far too little recognition and attention! Especially for this pricetag.>>

This is quite the addicting and fun game.
It requires not only good reflexes but also some quick thinking for the right action to perform to keep the run going.
I'm not the best of players, my highest score so far has been in the 1400ish kimos but with every death I seem to learn something. I know exactly why I died, what I could have done to avoid that death, like slowing down, or using the skills in a certain way and this made every death not feel frustrating at all but instead a way to try and become better.

Speaking about the game itself, it's like Speed the movie, only on foot. You have to keep running, you can't stop or you die. If you hit a wall you die. So it's imperative to use the 2 skills the game gives you to avoid every obstacle and keep running.

While I liked the random nature of the skills given in endless run, which get shuffled at every safe zone, I liked more the fixed nature of the challenge mode.
Challenge mode has you try to recover a certain amount of discs while making your way to the end of the level. The skills given in challenge mode are fixed, so learning the level and where and how to use those skills to grab all the discs made it feel a bit like a puzzle game to me. Executing the plan to perfection to get all the discs on the first of the easy levels made me feel quite accomplished, all the while making me think how much better I'll have to become since it was just an easy level.

I think that anyone looking for a challenging but fair game should give this one a chance, because the gameplay feels fun , challenging but not frustrating, where failure helps in learning more about the game and becoming better at it.

Super fun runner - once you've got the hang of it you enter a sort of flow state without having to think much. Early levels/areas are relaxing, later bits are super stressfull. Daily runs were a great idea that'll extend the game's life quite a bit.

Run or Die is a very addictive game, in a good way. The game's simple enough to drag you in, and more than challenging enough to keep your attention for a long time.

The game art is very well done and if you're not careful you'll be spending more time looking at the scenery than looking at what's in front of you. Thankfully the music is very relaxed and is a joy to listen to while getting sliced into small bits because of LASERS. I HATE THEM SO MUCH!

All in all, it's a great game and it's more than worth its fair price!

This is a fantastic game with great music. The atmosphere puts you in a state of trance which makes the time go by. The controls are very responsive which is essential for a game like this and the different abilities gives it enough variety to keep every run different (if doing endless).

Definitely worth it!
