About This Game

The colony ship, Maximus XV was on course. This was supposed to be an uneventful trip. No one on board expected the gravitational entity. It quickly swallowed Maximus XV.

The colony ship and its passengers were trapped but not alone. Ships loaded with creatures of unknown species have been trapped for years. They have learned how to survive by feeding on newcomers.

They quickly attacked Maximus XV, taking over one colony biosphere after another. The passengers were caught unaware and barely put up any resistance against the merciless invaders.

The last biosphere was different. With impromptu weapons colonists managed to fight off the attack, but they were still under siege, surrounded by countless enemies. Now, the only way to get out of this alive is to get to the emergency capsule and use their powerful engines to break free from the Nebula. But the capsule is at the other end of the ship and the path leads through all the biospheres, now colonized by alien creatures.

This is a one person job. Only the best of the best will have any hope. Hope has a new name – Space Hack

An old game dug up and released back into the wild. I wouldn't call it "a classic", but it's solid. Because it comes from Ye Olden Days , don't expect the flashiest of effects, or particularly novel gameplay.

If you're a fan of hack-n-slash, point-n-click, straightforward RPGs then Space Hack could well be the ticket. It's exactly what it says on the tin -- you're on a ship, in space, and you have to hack (or shoot) your way through all the levels. A generic storyline and a cast of basic NPCs with 2.5D personalities give you a bit of backstory; but this is the sort of game enjoyed by people who want a casual bug-hunt on a stranded ship drifting through the void.

By current standards, it's nothing special; but like I said it's a solid game. You hit things, and they make a satisfying "splat" noise. There are a few different weapon options, and just enough RPG factors to make you feel like you're following a "progression path". There are even some cool gadgets which stand in for "skills", and you can choose freely among them (assuming you have the right stats of course), so it's quite possible to replay the game a variety of different ways.

The only downsides which are real flaws within the game (as opposed to simply superceeded mechanics or tech) are the sometimes dodgy translation of the dialogue, and the fact that the levels can be confusing and annoying to clear. There's always that *one* bug you missed and have to explore the whole map to find...

For 99c, it's a worthwhile deal.

I recommend this game because I don't want to be the only one to suffer through it.

Gameplay: boring and repetive.
Enemies: 9 types, one that just runs towards you and hit same as previous but with more health, one with range attack, same as previous expect much more health and armor class, One that slowly walkas towars you and hits you, big brutes with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of health and armor class and other version that uses lasers also turrets.
Weapons: You get all kind of them Blunt one, Sharp one and that is all for melee as for ranged weapons you'll get Blasters, laser rifles, laser bazookas and bows and slings.
Merchants: ♥♥♥♥♥ as usuall, I tried to explain one that all my staff is broken and needs to be repaired otherwise monsters won't kill themselves, It's not like I'm gonna run away from a space ship, but nope they don't give a ♥♥♥♥. Guess I have to punch last boss to death with my bare hands.
Story: I like stories about humans trapped in space to be ripped and mutilated by aliens who writes dairy for you to read while you kill those aliens.

Oh my ♥♥♥♥ing GOD! After 38 hours of agony i beat this crap. This is the most boring game I ever played in my life.

Pros:
- Was free
- Story is related in space, everyone likes space
- Yep

Cons:
- Gameplay, main story, quests, enemies - EVERYTHING IS ♥♥♥♥ING BORING!
- There are only two types of enemies - fighting and shooting, sometimes they change colours - incredible!
- No respawns
- There are only two cut scenes: Intro and Outro and doesn't work, You have to watch them on YouTube
- A lot of crashes without reason

3/10 - Better buy a Smash Mouth album.

INSTANTLY tedious! It also crashes if you try to set the video res any higher than 1920.
Here's the synopsis:
-leave compound and punch (yes, punch!) aliens
-after the 4th or 5th one you need to heal
-rinse, repeat a half dozen times....now you can FINALLY buy your first weapon
-hit aliens....run back to heal.
-hit aliens...run back to heal.
-hit aliens.....run back to heal.
-by now you're getting further and further from the base, at which time you realize you have a run meter and you get tired quick. You have to STAND STILL to recover your meter! You read that correctly....you have to stand and do nothing for your run meter to recharge.

This game is pure fail.

Nice Diablo-like game, but in space.
Not too bad for its price.
