Feels and plays just like a mobile game.

It's not terrible per say, but it feels like an attempt to give proper combat to the Plants vs Zombies formula and while it might work on mobile, it just comes across as slow and unsatisfying on PC. It's nice that the game has an interesting twist, but it means that any strategic play you had in PvZ is swaped with just spamming of flower weapons, which got tiresome very quickly.

Maybe worth it for die hard tower defense fans, but otherwise not worth buying.

This game is horrible. Ripping off PvZ and Angry Birds and a few other random little rip-off bits. This game is barely original and should be free if anything.

At first, I gave it a go because I wanted to see what this game was like... i didn't even have to start playing to realise that this game is clearly better suited to a tablet or mobile phone... When transfering to a computer, the rezolution needs to at least match the monitor.
Futhermore, there are some very poorly implimented aspects of this game that make for some repetative and boring gameplay with little more than the feeling of something missing.

slow-moving projectiles aiming for enemies that move apparently at random? bad combination. Add that with a reload timer and a short 'clip' for each of your 'turrets' and you are often left relying heavily on power-ups you need to buy time and time again. This is not a game for the PC, it should have remained on whatever device it was designed for.

The designers would need to seirously overhaul this game to make it a viable option, not to mention graphical suggestions. The feel of the game is very cheap and not very pleasant. In serious need of refinement

An okay flash game, carpal tunnel inducing. Has no microtransactions which is a good thing. However, the cost of the upgrades seems too high. It's around 80k coins to upgrade everything, but each level only gives 1k coins. I don't understand what the nanotechnology from the R&D labs does, but it seems to give my plants a free upgrade.

The firing mechanism differs from Angry Birds in that you click at where you want the projectile to land, and the arc is calculated automatically. Unlike Plants Vs Zombies, you switch between the three plants by pressing 1, 2, 3 so only one plant is firing at a time manually. There is no automatic fire which is a negative. Another negative is that this developer doesn't seem to have a Steam presence, so there are no trading cards and achievements and updates although there are in-game achievements.

Updated Review:

"I am Vegend" is a poor attempt at merging the concepts of two widely viral games: Angry Birds + Plants vs. Zombies. Don't let the cartoon graphics fool you, this game was poorly designed and executed. It lacks even the most basic of functions such as the ability to adjust volume. You may either mute or unmute, that is all.

Gameplay remains unresponsive and laggy, especially as the game progresses and more units flood the screen. Ultimately, there is no strategy to gameplay. The launching of units does not require hard precision (as compared to Angry Birds) and the replenishment of units makes placing them simply a timing-response function. In other words, I found myself just clicking furiously rather than employing any real game tactics. I cannot recommend this game as it was not enjoyable to play.

I'm pretty sure the developer of 'I Am Vegend- Zombiegeddon' thought to himself "If I just mash-up all the popular casual games, my game will be the best casual game out there".

Unless you never watch movies, you have noticed the title of this game is ripped from the movies: I Am Legend + Armageddon. Another thing the developer thought would be clever but in my opinion it is unfunny and just dumb.

Like I said before, the game basically ripped everything from other games with in particular "Plants vs. Zombies" and a little bit of Angry Bird and Worms.

Your goal in the game is to defend your 'seeds' from attacking enemies. Everytime you have to click on one of your plants and click somewhere in the screen to shoot/attack. After missions you can buy new upgrades etc. that sort of thing.

To be honest, the game is not that bad. The graphics are OK, the gameplay (although a little buggy) works OK and I might have recommended it if it did not rip everything from other games.

A very decent little game. This is a plants vs. zombies like game (in the meaning that plants shoot at zombies, not like the PopCap great game).

You have three plants that shoot differently and need to reload after few shots and you need to survive waves of zombie attacks. Basically that's all that is to say about the philosophy of the game.

- power ups - additional sacks of seed (read - extra lives), invulnerability (for some seconds) and air strike to wipe screen clean of zombies
- it's pretty pleasant to play
- variety of minigames - shoot at crates, collect coins, bomb zombies from above, etc.
- levels are greatly paced - this game is not boring
- colorful and funny enemies
- you can upgrade stuff by means of coins

- plants look ugly - like I don't know, some grizzled good-for-nothings
- graphics are well, very basic as you can see on screenshots
- if you want to upgrade every plant that would mean a lot of coin-grinding
- reloading takes too long imo
- price - 7 Euros is a bit too many for such a basic game
- whole game can be finished in under three hours

Overall, I like this game. It's simple, it's funny, it's fun. If you like such games then go and grab it on some discount for about 2 Euros/USD.

The game saves its state in the following path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppMania\I Am Vegend (found it in the discussion section of the game), thus if you clean such folders regularly you may find your cash and upgrade state wiped clean. Surprisingly, you still can access levels that you have completed. Just have this in mind.

This is a tower defense game.

I think it's a original port from the Tablet platform.
It's a fun game you fight of Zombie attack.
Every lvl it's getting much harder to beat.
It's basic not a special game if you ask me.
Not tor forget the controls feeling not perfectly.
Because playing this with a touch screen will be much better.

I give it a 6/10 score.

It's a funny casual game that feels like a cross bitween Plants VS Zombies and Angry Birds, but then cheaper.
Zombies come in to steal the seeds , you use your plants to shoot, squash or cannonball them, to stop them from eating your precious seeds. The plants you use are different for every "world" you play in, each world has 3 different plants which you have to unlock. All plants are upgradable with the coins that you get after or during every level.

All in all I would say it's a funny, casual game that I'd rate with a score of 7/10.

Really did not like this game, wanted to like it, but could not.

It feels really corny, its way too simple, and I found it very unentertaining.

Some people might like this, look at how well most mobile games are doing - but not myself.

It kind of feels like they tried to think of ways that could possibily make it interesting or enjoyable, but instead made it tedious and not even worth giving too much of a try.

I know it says I only have .1 hours in the game, however this is not true, my internet cut out while I was playing it - in reality I probably gave it around 1-1.5 hours to pick up, but it never did sadly.

Fun enough game even though its for mobile phones and is being sold on PC, takes 1 and half hours to complete the currently 3 avaliable mission sets containing 15 missions each, first two mission sets unlock 3 unique monsters and introduce new enemies and games to play, final set introduces 1 unit and new enemies. Overall the game is super short but still it only cost me 20C and was fun to play. Thought it was going to be more similar to plants vs zombies but it wasnt, just slightly similar in the sense of plants fighting zombies and other creatures who want your seeds.

Wasn't a bad game. Only took me about 2 hours to beat. Reminds me of plants vs zombies. I really wish you could pick the plants you use per map, but o well. I bought it for a dollar, for an App/mobile game it was worth it.

Do not buy this.. I don't think devs are going to finish this game ever. It's really short and probably one of the most boring games I have played for a very long time. Luckily it took less than 2 hours to finish the "story". After that you can complete ingame achievements but those will be nightmare to grind because you get so little money from each level that it takes ages to level up your vegetables. The normal price 6,99€ is ridiculous request for this game and I'm just wondering what were they thinking..

A bad Plants vs. Zombie ripoff. At least keep this in the app store, stop porting these to steam.

I have a problem with this game mainly because it's not good, the art style is very childish, which if it's aimed towards children and not casual, then I'd be fine. Another problem, and this might just be me since I come from the generation when if you wanted a casual computer game you had to go to random websites and find flash games, but I seriously don't understand how this is a game that I'd have to pay for. I got this game for free from a friend, and I still didn't even want him paying for it, and he got it in a pack, that means at least one penny went towards this game. Also, I came to the store page, and the first thing I saw on the video for the game, was the title "I-Free." Now, I don't know if that's a publisher or developer or what, but if you have something like that in the first second of the video for the game, then why would you expect anyone to pay $7 for a game that isn't even suited to call itself a flash game on one of those game websites.
