Think of a cross between GTA: San Andreas and Gran Turismo.

Very happy with this exciting, inexpensive game.

This game is bizzare and bonkers. You can get girlfirends and watch girlfriend videos and plaster your car in anime only to spin out and fly about with barely any control. It's so dumb and I love it.

Only a dollar? Thought I'd give it a try, not as good as Underground 2, but still cool. It has cutscenes, and you actually have to pay if you damage your car. And I think you also have to re-buy nos. Not sure though. I can play with my controller... YES. I'll update the review as I go on but definitely worth a dollar!

I got this game for 99 cents on a steam sale. Definately worth it! I got a car, upgraded parts, bought nitrous, and got a girlfriend in less than an hour! =) Heres a short video of a short race

Ignite was a fairly terrible racing game, with terrible controls, terrible support, and overall terrible terribleness. I would recommend Ignite over this garbage. No wonder it got mediocre reviews back in the day.

-FR cars are too common, and they spin out very easily. Sometimes just turning.
-Every single race is a 3 race series instead. Not only do you need to pay cash, you also need to have impressed enough people to get in. 2 forms of currency to race in a racing game. And not enough ways to earn Respect Points.
-The final series is locked behind a grand total of 77,000 Respect Points. That's nearly every series done perfectly. 250 points sounds easy, especially when you max out a Skyline... But consider the following: Every single race except for "Nitro Xtreme" will only get you to about 75,000 points. With all 18 girlfriends unlocked, too. This means to unlock the final series, you need to have completed the previous 6 races almost flawlessly. Which is damn near impossible.

2/10. Tops. And I'm being generous. What a ♥♥♥♥ing waste of my time.

Picture of girl in this game makes my mom think I'm playing somekind of Eroge.

EDIT : For more detail
- I tried to drive my 800HP Fairlady, the car physics gone rolling and roll everytime I turn a bit
- NOS can't recharge ?
- You have to repair your car everytime ?

Now I know why I hate this game on PS2

I'd play Midnight Club 3 or NFS Carbon instead of this

On the other side, you can have Anime girls as your car vinyl which is nice.

Weeeeell.
I was going to play this game with my little brother because I saw it was car racing, but when some girls on the screen appeared I understood that I cannot show it to my little boy.
The graphics is old and I don't like the way cars race-You never win!

Street Racing Syndicate is an arcade racing game, created on the wave of astonishing success of the Need for Speed Underground. There were plenty of them back in the days, but only a few deserves our attention after all those years passed. If you need comparisons, I'd say that SRS is more realistic than NFS Underground 1 & 2, and have some unique features to hold player's interest - the most noticeable, the down-to-earth system of upgrades, and, of course, girls. Girls who encouraging the player with the original driving quests, and awards with private go-go dances, once you achieve something on the streets.

As of downsides, the game is quite dated at moment (released in 2005), and it is not a "living classic", like NFS games. Sadly, even being more fair with player than NFS, Street Racing Syndicate is not possessing the fleur of the "legend in flash". Which is more, it lacks the drive that raised NFS Underground so high. The driving in the open world could be the pain in the back, as the map is not just slightly informative... and gosh, how many coppers there on patrol?! It's really hard to speed there, staying under the radar.

Overall, I can't hardly recommend it. Get it on sale, or bundled, if you're up to some arcade racing with open world, where cars not bouncing from the border lines, maintaining speed. Where you have to pay for repairs, which urges you to drive a bit more carefully. Where you have your own club of long-legged female venerators... however low it may sound, it feels alright, try it sometimes.

My personal mark will be 6.9/10. It's on the level with Juiced or just slightly not even with NFS Underground 2. But yeah, it's been about 12 years now, and there are plenty of newer open-world racing games, starting with TDU 2 or the Crew. None of them holds so much go-go dancing girls, of course, but I wouldn't buy the game just to look at dancing cuties. Would you?

Street Racing Syndicate is a street racing game. And that alone says somthing to me.
As a racing fan most of my racing game's I would play were Gran Turismo and Forza.
But sometime's I would go out and play other racing game's like Burnout 3 (All time Favorite acrade racing game), and now this one aswell.
Some people can complain or like that this looks like a rip off or clone of Need for Speed underground 2. With the fact that this is also a open world street racing game. But that was never on PC.
So if your in the mood for Street racing, and can't find a copy of NFS Underground 2. This is the game for you.

Pro

- Open world
- Car customization
- Controller Support/Remapping
- Great cars
- Great soundtrack

Con

- Lack of stroy
- Controlls Feel off putting at times

Great nostalgia from the past (I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of this when I was 15-ish). This game may not have been as popular as Underground or Carbon but it is just as good to be remembered in our hearts. With great cars, the ability to look great even till today, and the boobs (cause I can't say ♥♥♥♥ apparently), this game gets the "Is good" on the Hoovie scale.

So far it has been an amazing game, I only have one complaint and it isn't game breaking or ruining it too much for me.

The menu music is ear bleedingly loud, but then you get into a race and can't hear anything except for a faint engine noise.
No idea if it is just me or not, but that was my experience.

Great game if you have a few spare dollars and love JDM cars.
