USE WITH CAUTION!

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

If you like to overclock, well this is the most fun way to track your records and or goals for stable overclocks. The achievments are easy and fun. I also feel you may want to add this to your Steam profile if you are a true non plebian pc master race member.

After overclocking Intel® Pentium® Processor G3258, I thought I wouldn't be trying to overclock my GPU because of limited power supply (225w).

I went on and tried using EVGA PrecisionX 16 to overclock my GTX 750 Ti. First thing I did was to set its clock to 1500MHz (damn, they sure came up with pretty interesting and trivial achievements just for this overclocking utility). It obviously didn't turn out well, the screen froze and I had to restart my computer. After a lot of tinkering, tests, and restarts, I was able to come up with some decent overclocks (from 1241MHz to 1438MHz GPU boost clock and from 2750MHz to 3004MHz memory clock). I didn't have much time to test but the performance gains were noticeable, as I played TESV Skyrim and ETS2, drops in frame rate were reduced. I also got over 9% more 3DMark Firestrike score. All of these without changing voltages and with just turning the fan control to aggressive, temps never went over 60°C.

I believe the software works for anything Nvidia, it is easy to use. As was in the description, it can set GPU Clock Offsets, Memory Clock Offsets, Fan Speed, voltage, etc. The On-screen display is really neat and useful for monitoring frame rate, clocks, memory usage, and temperature while in game. EVGA also has its own benchmark tool which can be connected to this utility.

As of writing, profile saving features for clocks and fan settings seems to be not working well so I might try and use the version which is available directly from the publisher's website. I'd still recommend that you try and use this utility if you don't already have any software to use for overclocking any Nvidia GPU (just proceed with caution as any damage done are likely to be irreversible and you'll only have yourself to blame).

Very basic, yet consistent overclocking utility that is great for beginners, provided that you have an Nvidia graphics card. I'd recommend this for overclocking laptop cards specifically (if that's your thing).

Great tool if you're looking to step up your PC's performance. Easy to use, nice interface and a whole lot of tools. Also, you can install skins to make it visually appealing.

A must-have for those who have NVIDIA GPU's.

25 achievements?! HELL YEAH! (with a chance of your PC being able to cook food)

Good software for those of us who know what they're doing. But I find it astounding that there are achievments for this software. It is utterly unscrupulous to have achievments that celebrate overclocking to a certain amount available for all to see, and a newcomer could very easily overclock well beyond their limits in hope of an achievment, and burn out their hardware.

while I know most won't, i feel it is a massive oversight. Nothing short of irresponsible.

If you know what you are doing you can achieve a stable 1410mhz clock on an EVGA 980Ti like I did. If YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.. If not, well read all these other negative reviews....
