Soul Axiom - A Thrilling Sci-Fi Adventure Game from the Creators of Master Reboot.

We've had to delay release of the early access version of Soul Axiom until December 1st. This is down to a couple of factors, firstly the Halloween Sale and secondly, the abundance of game releases over the coming weeks both impacting our visibility on the Steam store.

We're pleased to say that the game is looking great and this gives us some extra time to add that added polish and extra content to the Early Access version.

Gravity Badgers is Angry Birds Space without the pigs.

No, really. If you were to replace the license and swap toppling towers of blocks with flying into wormholes the two games would be near indiscernible, except one would be an oddly warped mobile classic and the other a bland, arguably broken clone.

I don't actually take a huge offense that Gravity Badgers has more or less ripped all its components clean out of another game. It's that they've turned it into such a lifeless, frustrating husk of what it once was that makes it so irredeemable. Its rules of gravity are blurry and inconsistent, its camera clumsy, and its scoring system unnecessarily punishing to a degree that makes no sense outside of causing even more tedium as players are forced to open menus and restart levels because of a dumb penalty.

The bottom line is its not fun. It's an almost entirely worthless copy of a better game, with only enough charm to showcase how lifeless the rest of the experience is, and so many aggravating problems that only further cement the fact that this was a hastily developed product pushed out the door before anyone realized how much was wrong (or couldn't be bothered to fix it).

I got this for 49 cents, and there are trading cards you can sell, making it even cheaper. That being said, I still regret this purchase. It isn't even worth a quarter.
Some say it's like Angry Birds Space. It's not. It's far, far worse. I love Angry Birds, and this game is nothing like it. You can't destroy anything. The whole point of the game is to grab three coin star things, then get to the warp hole/exit. It's not really an enjoyable process either. Many of the levels you can get immediately, because they're so easy. Some others are so annoyingly hard to find the sweet spot. It's basically just tweaking your shot, little bit little, trying to find that one sweet spot where you win the level. It's barely even a game really. More like a meticulous painful process of guess work.

The camera is annoying. It starts zoomed in, and as you pull the mouse back to launch, if you tough the edge of the screen, it zooms out more. Most levels require zooming out, and every time you restart, it zooms back in. This means you have to use the annoying edge zoom EVERY time you try again. It's aggrivating.

It DESPERATELY needs a restart button, like the "R" key or something. You do get three lives, but it's pointless, because you obviously want to get three stars. So you end up clicking pause, then reset, then resetting the annoying camera again... over, and over, and over, and over... until you find that one sweet spot where it works.

On top of all that, it's a physics gravity type game, and the physics don't even really make too much sense. Sometimes a planet will do a lot, sometimes barely anything. The size appears to be important at times, and totally irrelevant other times.

I've played the game about an hour as of now (to get all the badges... not because it's good). I'm about half way through the game. There's a badge where you have to play the game 10 hours... there's no way this is a ten hour game. I'm just going to be leaving it on while I do other things, for the sake of getting that badge.

If I were you, the only way I would get this game is if it were free, so that I could get the trading cards and sell them.

Personal Rating: Not my preferred genre, bought on discount.
Classic Rating: 6.5/10

A game which resembles the famous "Angry Birds", with a nice setting - spaaaaaaace! - and characters - badgers.
I've almost reached the end and i've collected all the "Energy Cores" so far (Stage 4 - Level 80 or something), so the game is not too difficult even if some levels require a millimetric precision to complete them.
There's not much else to say about Gravity Badgers, can be fun and undemanding but don't expect too much from it.

People mistaken this for Angry Birds clone. It is not. It stands on it's own feet. even though those feet are short hairy badger feet that dont take this game very far before becomming roadkill.

To really sum up quickly what this game is really all about mechanically: You 'pull' a badger on the screen with your mouse and let go. Badger flies away in space and - hopefully - grabs 1-3 power cones during it's trip that is heavily affected by gravity.

Every 25 something levels there is a boss level - which are won by surviving long enough.

Is it fun? in small doses yes it's not so bad. UI is a bit cumbersome as you constantly reach for the Menu button -> Restart -combo until you just dont care anymore about the cones and want to proceed on with the game.

4.99€ is basically the max price this game is worth. It is often though in sales so you wont be paying too much for this no matter what (currently as i write this it's -90%).

Cute.

Total knock off Upset Avians Exoplanet and a clear mobile port, but it has nice art and a great theme song.

Fun distraction. Not too hard either. Great kids game.

Here's a clever little Indie game that uses properties of gravity and repulsion to move a tiny badger (you) around and thru obstacles toward a spiralling black hole. Allows you to succeed, for the most part, so you can earn most achievements.

Drawbacks include: 1) not being able to save your progress during boss fights, so the more difficult ones later on become a real pain, to the point of making you rage quit, and 2) getting all energy balls is extremely unlikely. So, between that and not being able to get thru later boss fights means getting all achievements is not to be expected.

But, like I said, it allows you to succeed for the most part, so earning most achievements should be attainable.

Worth a play on sale.

This game has two difficulties, toddler level and unplayable. In some levels, you just point at the first orb thing and the game plays itself. However, in other levels, it takes you ten hours to find the exactly perfect position. Fun mechanic and graphics ruined by terrible level design.

It's hard to enjoy this game. There are rooms for improvement but there's none so far.
Most of the flaws / dislikes have been said by others in the game's discussion page.
Do check it out before you buy this.
Get this if you want trading cards and 100% achievement. The achievements take times but still possible to complete. Of course, that is if you have the patience for it.

Bad and strange game i ever played!
Graphics and sounds is ok, but gameplay..
Everyone played Angry birds space?
That is.. poor badgers space? Or?
You can't get all enegry scores, that is impossible! Nothing can be done!
But if you played dark souls 9000, and completed it, this game is easy for you!'
Well, i buy it for 9 rubles (russian money) and i think that's okay.

Wanna make a bad game? The Unity engine heard your call and is here to help!

This one features a painful main menu where every time you navigate out of a menu, the background music restarts. Needless to say it's not a very jolly experience.

It feels a lot like the developers were trying to create a generic mobile phone Angry Birds clone, chose badgers as their cute mascots of the month, and then failed really hard at implementing the required object physics and thus ended up with a simple puzzle game.

I guess on the plus side, it has badgers, and completing the tutorial gets you all fat and blobous.

Well... This game sucks a lot.
The SFX sucks, the graphics are ugly, the story is boring, the music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥...
Don't buy this game... Not even if it's 0.50 cents.
