Trying to make your mediocre game more relevant? Why not add badgers?

Gravity Badgers tries to copy & paste the success of Angry Birds Space but fails in every aspect. The levels are just too similar, there is no added value in the different badger characters (they all play the same) and the excitement of the falling blocks physics is completely missing.

What it boils down to is, you try to get the one perfect shot that gets you all three glowing orbs and restart the level many, many times, making micro adjustments until you get it just right. And that is not a lot of fun.

Loving this game so far, very addictive trying to get all 3 energy cores in each level and the music reminds me of watching my favourite Cartoon shows like "Biker Mice from Mars" when I was a kid.

Its kinda easy to start with but it gets really hard as it goes along, and the boss battles are epic, by far my favourite one was the giant space worm where you find yourself flying through the worms body destroying it from the inside in order to save your fellow Gravity Badger.

Defiantly recommended.

A casual game with the shooting mechanics of Angry Birds and the gameplay idea of Cut the rope (collect 3 things and reach the exit). Overall it is a very easy game but some levels have a massive jump in difficulty and will take 20-30 tries or more compared to the 1-5 tries that most levels require. There are a lot of levels (140) and has a few boss battles that try to do things somewhat differently.

Most achievements will come from getting 3 energy cores on all levels, and there are a few time grinds (where the highest is for 10 hours and by the time you get that you should have been done with the game for several hours). There is some additional achievement for beating the games different bosses without loosing lives and that wont be an issue until you encounter the second to last boss which is a huge jump in difficulty compared to the previous bosses and will probably take you quite a few attempts to get right.

Time to 100%: 10 hours (due to the time grind)

Being a game collector and having a soft spot for badgers (don't we all??) I just had to pick this title up.

Gameplay is simple but with a ton of levels (140) and the 'puzzles' getting progressively harder, you will soon start scratching your head a little for those perfect scores. Each different colour planet has certain gravity effects (like magnets). The idea is to collect all the stars and land in the portal via one click of the mouse. Easier said then done. ;)

Graphically speaking it's built on unity so easily scales up for higher resolution setups. While the game is built to probably resemble Angry Birds in some ways it most certainly has it's own charm. Controls are simple to match the gameplay so keyboard/mouse work just fine. Click and drag to set your launch arc and acceleration level. The game has a decent electronica based soundtrack and while there is no voiced dialog the 'story' is driven along via lovely artwork done in a comic book style.

Enjoyable little game you have here Wales Interactive. I'm honestly quite surprised.
Maybe wait for a sale but I can recommend this title. Only 5bucks afterall. :)

I have become a bit of a badge collector - I'm trying the impossible (for my wallet) dream of obtaining every level 1 badge that there is for an ever growing list of Steam Badge games. So I picked this game up on its sale not expecting anything but to add to my badge collection.

I am thankful that I picked this game up. I generally dislike casual indie games. I'm more of a simulation or RPG or adventure gamer. However, this game is a really well written game based around the physics of gravity. It's definitely a hidden gem. The devs have done a masterful job in its creation and you can tell that it was a production of love.

If you want something a little different, if you're looking for a relaxing game that can provide some "Hell Yeah!" moments and some frustrating moments as you try and work out what the best solution is then this is a must try. This is one of the first games on my Steam collection other than a story-driven game that I will try and complete. Thanks Wales Interactive.
