I really enjoyed this game. It felt very much like a Crystalis throwback (which I've actually played through). I only did one play through and it was on Hard mode. It was fairly challenging and didn't require too much grinding. My in game timer was around 4.5 hours when I completed it.

The game runs really great. I never had any crashes or encountered obvious bugs. It's a great value and I can't wait for the sequel.

Play as the evil overlord for once! get revenge, kill stuff and be tottaly evil while doing it, the gameplay has just enough variety to keep you going. But think of it as a more RPG-ish zelda if that helps! Thats pretty much what it is!

Very beautiful game, the soundtracks are great, the gameplay is very fun and the finale is very well made. The only bad thing is, that the game gets a bit too easy in the end. I had more problems in the volcano than in the final stage. Don't know how it looks like in the difficult mode.

All in all, this game is very good. I can totally recommend it.

Honestly a really fun quick game. You can get a good 10 or so hours of gameplay and get all the acheivments. Really fun, throwbacky feel. Also a lot of good one liners. There is something satisfying about playing a game where you're the bad guy and for no good or deep reason do you want to just destroy the world. Style is Secret of Mana like.

It's fun and funny, a good play.

EvilQuest is a really fun action RPG with a twist, you get to play the EVIL bad guy bent on world domination. Nice graphics and gameplay reminiscent of NES/SNES games, such as Zelda, Secret of Mana and Crystalis. It has that good old school look and feel that makes it a steal for $2. A must buy for old school ARPG fans!
