“Putting Island Master on early access gives me the chance to receive community feedback and support on the development of the game. I want to make sure I get the chance for other people to play it and give feedback. What I hear back will affect the future development of the game.”

“The goal is for Island Master to come out sometime in 2024 but I don't want to commit to that completely.”

“I want the full version to be more fleshed out and polished. I have a few ideas for features I want to add but the hope is the community will inspire more ideas. More buildings, more content, more fun! The specifics of how it'll all play out I am not sure of at this time. The game in the state it is in at present is pretty small but it is my hope the final project will be a little bigger and will provide the player with more to do.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“It has production buildings, a couple of recreation buildings, and some buildings that meet religious requirements. It has a basic trade system, a day-night cycle, and weather. Procedural island generation. Some population needs to be managed too. Enemies come at night to attack your town hall which you can protect with guard towers. The game has an event system to keep things a little more interesting and unpredictable.”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“Maybe but I can't say for certain just yet. This all depends on how the scope of the game changes. As of the time being I don't have any plans to raise the price.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“The goal is that the community will offer feedback that will inspire changes and features between now and Island Master's full release. They will also help flesh out and find some bugs and clunky behavior. I want the community to be involved in helping me make this game the best that I am capable of making it.”
