This is an extremely comical roguelike of sorts, fitting the bill of permadeath and random generation. In addition, it has an exquisite challange factor, whilst managing to not feel punishing (or at least, leaving you a hope you won't get that particular encounter in the foreseeable future). It features unlockable wagons and music that accents the games lighthearted and pleasant qualities.
As for the actual gameplay itself, however, it is a horizontally scrolling shoot-'em-up, when in the wagon, which is of course most of the time. Who ever went to Oregon on foot, that's silly and extremely dangerous.
At first glance, it's simplistic, not much challenge in it. But the rapidity of your movement, the size of your hitbox, and the sheer number and speed of hostile entities makes this game, for better or for w̶o̶r̶s̶e̶ better, a Bullet Curtain. Overall, highly recommended for its quick pace, delightful humour (and the utterly bizarre twists and turns that entails), and of course, its refreshing Roguelike and Shoot-'Em-Up elements. Enjoy! I got my three dollars' worth in a lunchbreak.
