What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“To give players the opportunity to play the game, give feedback and adjust the game accordingly. Especially with the adjustment of level of difficulty this is important here because without having enough players play it it is difficult to see whether or not the hints are enough or need to be modified. Having a larger sample-size play the game will also help eliminate any remaining twofold meanings of riddles for the final version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until October, when the regular release is planned as it would be fitting for Halloween.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Hints will be adjusted as per feedback and additional functions such as further pages that allow for more realism will added, support for Mac and Linux and one additional riddle.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable from the start to the end. The hint system works as it is but more feedback is required but it works on different devices and can be fully played as it currently is. The riddles exist in their entirety within the "browser" and can be solved. The "browser" also works as intended, the players can navigate to new pages using the search bar or solution fields that appear accordingly. The end is also already in place, sound works, difficulty can be adjusted, resolution can be changed and so on.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, it the price will not change as we think that a price hike would only be perceived as greedy since there won't be that many new features to justify it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to carefully read reviews and collect data on how far and how long people play, then adjust the hints accordingly. Furthermore if we notice any need for additional functions we will try to provide them if time allows.”
