Played this game on most of the consoles as well as PC and i have to say that even though the game is pretty old it has aged pretty well. It still feels as fresh today as the day it was released, The graphics are up there with a lot of the modern games in some cases the graphic's for me are better on burnout. Although not a lot of people play it now, its nice to dig it out and have a wreckfest.

Easily one of the best racing games out there espeically on PC, has a massive open world mixed with amazing soundtracks and wide variety of events and different cars/bikes.The sheer amount of absurd things you can do in this game is ridiculous and this absolutely nails the sense of speed in high speed runs which some racing games absolutely fail at,burnout paradise is easily recommended even after all these years.

The second best driving game I've ever played. My top will always be Burnout 3. Despite not having touched any Burnout game for years, playing this game made it feel like I never stopped.

Now where's our Burnout 3 HD remake. Come on EA, work on that

I think I bought this simply because someone said this was better than Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

This is probably the only racing games in my library that I have both played and really enjoyed. Crashes are quite hilarious and the driving feels awesome.

It's not like very addictive, but I really enjoyed the time I spent on it/

My favorite thing about Burnout Paradise is how fast the cars go. Unlike GTAV, where going too fast and crashing means dying and losing $5,000, there is really no penalty for driving at a breakneck speed and ending up in a wreck. The biggest fault of the game isn't the game's fault as much as it is Crtierion's, and that is that they never ported Big Surf Island. "The Ultimate Box" doesn't contain every piece of DLC, which is sad. However, the game is still my favorite open-world racing game of all time, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

What men want is all in this game:
- Racing: yes
- Car crashes: yes
- Good old rock tunes: yes
- Freedom: YESS!

Only beer and hot chicks are missing, but who want's that in a videogame anyway?

(And for all feminist out there: women can play this too, so don't be triggered plz)

Of the very few racing games that I really liked, BP is one of them.
Back in 2009 when it released first, it blew my mind. Before BP, NFS: Most Wanted was my go to racing game and it still is in some way. But BP is a whole another experience. I love the gameplay and the graphics is(was) fantastic with respect to which decade it's from. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who loves cars & bikes & racing.

<3 EA.

If you can get this piece of garbage to actually run you might have fun with it, no such luck here.

Mildly entertaining racing game that gets old really fast.

For a 2009 game the graphics still hold up fairly well, and it performs smoothly at 1920x1080 resolution. It's fun to race and take down opponent cars by slamming them into obstacles, but the experience grows stale too quickly.

The environment is limited to one city so you'll see the same roads and scenery over and over again. The cars all handle pretty similarly so there's not much variety there, either.

Where things get really frustrating is the user friendliness. The game doesn't do a very good job of showing where to go, so you can easily get lost while trying to race ahead of your opponents. Who wants to constantly be looking at the map while driving? It's easy to lose races because of this, and when it happens there's no way to quickly retry. You have to drive all the way back to the beginning, which can sometimes take a good 5 minutes. Given how repetitive this experience is, the game feels torturous and you feel like you are getting punished for not memorizing the city's layout.

There are cars that you can't unlock because the online servers are dead forever, so they're just there to tease you.

There's really not much here to recommend, to be honest.

love it, drive it, crash it, capture it and finally enjoy it. The Game is amazing even for modern standards. The only prob is the lackluster singleplayer which feels like the offline version of its online counterpart except for the hunting the cars down to add them to your library. The best part of this game is its map, its so intricate and detailed, with tonnes of secrets and shortcuts that you'll mostly learn from other players or by playing the online mission challenges with your friends or random people. They even went ahead and designed exlusive missions for 2 player online - 8 player online (max is 8 players).
U need to connect this game to your EA's Origin Game Client if you want to buy the extrememly cheap dlc from their store cause the ingame store isnt functional anymore.

This game graphics maybe outdated but its crahs physics is still one of the most enjoyable to watch. The ingame music tracks are the worst part of this game, nothing suits for a racing game. The game modes although named the same way for both online and offline, but are infact different in its rules and gameplay. This game is fun if you got like 8 friends to play with or sometimes with random people online. The only problem with this game is that it doesnt tell you what all good stuff its got in it, you need to discover it yourself. So this means you need a very good host to make online fun for anyone.

The PC port's problem is that EA didnt release few of its best dlc expansions to it. But u can access them through community modes if u want to so no worries there. Bikes arent as fun as you want them to be but its still enjoyable to ride it.

Overall : A very good game when it was released back in 2008 and even good now, "Only if you have friends to play with or stumbled upon random people online who knows how to host the game, and want to play it rather than drive around aimlessly and chat with their friends"

P.S : even if you find people driving aimlessly online, you can still manage to have fun with them

Coming from someone who's played pretty much all the Burnout games up and until now, I'm gonna be straight up and say it's god damn near perfect. Let's start with the graphics, they're... Beautiful, from a game back 2009, it'll honestly blow you away, as for the controls, they're pretty spot on too, you can just tell it's a Burnout game if you've had a go of the previous games, another thing they kept like the old Burnout games is the AI, and that's not a bad thing either, you actually have to properly focus on what you're doing later on in the game, it'll even give the best a decent struggle, as for the soundtrack, I reckon it's awesome, they even got most of the songs from the previous games in there too [Burnout 1, Burnout 2, Burnout 3 and maybe Burnout Revenge too] there's nothing better then racing around in the Hydros Techno with the signature Burnout 2 design while listening to the theme for it. The only negative things I can say about this game is that the DLC is no longer avaliable and that you HAVE to make a separate account just to play online, that may not mean anything to some people, but to me it was a bummer.
Overall this very solid game and I think was a great rebirth of the series, and if you can get around the whole no DLC thing, I definitely recommend it. Even if this is your first Burnout game, trust me, once you start playing, it won't be your last...
