After watching for the whole long 1h15mins with a lot of feeling, i really really want to say something, maybe just stupid, or messy typing but it's free to read .... ^,,^~
Everyone have their own life, and those guys choose the way of professional gaming aka e-sport career, which is the youngest entertainment industry in the world. It's new, it's different, or as same as nothing before, and they need to find their own way to move on. The real struggle is mostly from family. I'm not racist, or something-ist, but it's really really different about the culture. As it can be seen in some Europian team, their parent just don't understand their kids, but still let them have easy breath. However, the Asian team don't have this easy-going. I'm fully Asian, born and grow up in Asian country, feel empathy to them. This is a real pressure from family. Kinda there are only 2 side you can choose from parents: study, or die- i mean, real die without any job, and homeless. Just take Hyhy as an example, even Singapore is one of strongest countries in South-East Asian, his parents still DONOT support his gaming career, and at last, when he's back from the world tournament, he still needs to finish his University. So, life goes on.
Moreover, the e-sport industry extremely need to take care their gamers, like building more gaming houses. So they can have more benefits to countinue with this toughest job in the world, because the gaming age is shorter than soccer age, just a few years. When they're out-meta, they're out, then find some ways to start again, or begin with something new. When I was young, like 7~8 years ago, my parent always ask me whenever i'm playing too much ( for me at that time, too much is like 2~3 hours), like which one will you choose: a Bruiser, an Assassin, or a Hyper Carry ( Sorry for using MOBA language). They all can be understand as: A Bruiser ( balance your gaming and studying, but not really good at both), an Assassin ( spend all young age to do whatever you like, and regret at old), or an Hyper Carry ( spend fulltime studying and get easy life after getting job). And I now still thinking what happen if i'd chosen the gaming career and i failed. SERIOUSLY, THERE IS NO GAMING INSURANCE. All the professional gamers need to do risk their life, or become a N.E.E.T !
So far, i really really hope the gaming industry will shine, and compare equally to every other industries. Best wishes for y'all !
p/s: Valve, please make more movies with this genre! You have my full respect and appreciation! I absolutely enjoy watching !
Bad things: even in the F2P Movie, they are still PR for some sets of Dota2 items, lol, no offense but seriously guy ??
