New Zombie Mode

The Tiny Troopers zombie mode includes:

  • Face endless waves of brain-munching zombies, including undead chickens!
  • Utilise air dropped crates of special weapons to lay devastation on the zombie hordes!
  • Use all your favorite Special Forces troopers to take down the undead.
  • Survive as long as you can against unending waves of normal and special zombies!

About This Game

Tiny Troopers puts you in command of a team of small soldiers. Guide them through 30 deadly missions with varied objectives: destroy enemy armoured formations, save hostages and eliminate enemy generals, to name but just a few.

Your troopers will face enemy infantry, snipers, technicals and even tanks. The casualty rate is going to be high but there’s an endless supply of fresh recruits to step up and fill the ranks. Those lucky troopers who survive from mission to mission will be promoted, and each new stripe they gain makes them tougher.

To increase your troopers’ chances of survival, use Command Points to give them better equipment, reinforce their team with a specialist like machine gunner, medic or delta force and call in support drops during missions. War might be hell but this is the funniest way to fight in one!

  • The safe way to fight in a war: you won't end up in a body bag.
  • Lead your troopers in 30 deadly missions with varied objectives.
  • Face enemies from infantry to snipers and tanks.
  • Reinforce your squad with specialists like machinegunner, medic and delta force.
  • Keep your troopers alive: they get better after each new rank they gain.
Give War a Chance!

The controls are a bit fiddly theres no pad support but for the money it looks good and from what ive played the game is decent for a dollar,if it had a joypad option this game would be a lot better its made worse by not being able to bind your own keys,i have a 20 button mouse and i still have to hold down ctrl and press a button for granades or rockets its stupid.Worth the money but dont pay more than $1.

A good kids game, you want a war game that isnt all swears, blood and gore? This is it, not too entertaining for teenager/adults but for pre-teens and younger it'd be fine, there is small amount of blood but non-realistic. 7/10

Tiny Troopers - A simple, cute and challenging little war game which is very similar to Cannon Fodder in terms of mechanics and gameplay, but has a health-bar system to make things a little bit less punishing, so if you like that series of games, you will likely enjoy this game too, I definitely did!

Tiny Troopers is a top-down shooter which was originally developed for iOS, earlier versions of the Steam edition left lots of evidence that this was a quick port, but patches and updates have really improved this game to benefit PC players such as making a new and better control system (WASD Movement with Mouse Aiming), fixing some smaller errors such as grammar/typos and re-adding the Zombie game mode (accompanied with achievements as a bonus). So, if you were thrown off from buying this game because of older reviews that were posted before the changes were made (such as TotalBuiscuit's review), please consider trying the current version on sale, it is freshly polished and has been vastly improved.

Tiny Troopers is a lot of fun, the Command Point system along with the Ranking and Leveling add a nice touch to make the game feel a bit more progressive. Individual trooper levelling makes a return and works essentially the same way as it does in the original Cannon Fodder games, each mission a particular trooper survives and completes will provide them with a new rank making them tougher, stronger and improve his weapon capabilities.
There are a total of 30 missions in the campaign, 10 missions per chapter. Once these are complete, there is a Campaign+ option to try and challenge yourself further giving this game some replay value, the Zombie mode is a nice touch too to give yourself something more to do.

There isn't much else to say here. The game is really enjoyable, while not exactly groundbreaking, and is a great game to play if you're looking to get into something quick and fun for a low price. It takes no time at all to get yourself clued up on how to play as the tutorial takes no longer than a minuteto complete because of the simple controls, meaning you can jump right into the action almost instantly. Also just for the record, this game is superior to Cannon Fodder 3.

For £3.99, I defeinitely recommend this game. When it is on sale, I can't recommend this game enough.

This is a fun little game about a rag-tag pair of soldiers that, through a series of missions, rise through the ranks and have more and more specialists available to their squad.
The gameplay itself is fun, and is diverse enough so that you won't bore too quickly. Though some of the missions seem to drag on, running from place to place, the majority of them are quite easy to do and countinue on.
Nice game, consider this if you have a spare dollar or two.

This game is not for everyone.....Its cute and fun but lacking at some parts. The camera will goes with your character at the center and you could not scroll to view the maps. The explosions, guns firing and others sound effects were greats.Even dying soldiers still request assist for helps.Your soldiers will be given rank after finishing some missions and become stronger(the firing rates and damages),they also haves names so you would somehow like some of you soldiers and would want them to stay alive every mission but they do die a lots and been replaces by new ones.If you want something cute and casual but there would be blood, this is right games for you.Its quite funs when you goes trough it....Do enjoy firing the guns and missiles a lot.

This game is nice and funny ... just for the first couple of hours. There's not enough variety in the game missions and objectives, it's just too repetitive. It's always and only about killing all the enemies or killing all and retrieving something. You can play "controlling" a group of tiny soldiers, but actually you just control the one you've selected, the others just automatically follow you in single file and mime your actions, that is, shoot when you shoot in the direction you are aiming at. This way you'll find it quite hard to keep them alive because it's just improbable you can dodge incoming fire when your platoon stays in a single line formation weaving from side to side. And each time a soldier dies they lose their level and you have to start over with a new one. Poorly Conceived in my opinion.

ASWD to move, left click shoot, right click alt fire, 1-2-3 for special weapons options, call in support for dollars, it's very very basic even for a touch-pad port.

As it's been said, the "campaign" is nothing more than disjointed, generic missions played sequentially. Missions on maximum difficulty can be completed effortlessly the first time you see them, provided everyone but your main unit means nothing to you. I'm guessing that the "challenge" is that you can only control the head of your squad and all other members move like a snake behind him. Therefore, when you are trying to avoid fire, you have to do so in a way that does not allow the other members of your party to get hit when they arrive at your location two or three seconds later. Basically, it's inevitable that your main unit will be grossly overpowered and everyone else will be new and inexperienced.

Really, I would sum this game up by saying it's just not very good and be done with it. However, it's struck me right from the main menu that this is intended to be something like 3D, isometric Call of Duty for eight year olds. I don't really mean that in a condescending way, and this isn't really a game that I'd give and eight year old to play unless I was trying to explain military strategy of the Iraq war (run in with thousands of troops, shoot up locals, watch your troops die, and accomplish nothing yet make a lot of money). But really, the maturity level conveyed and depth from the game definitely makes me think ages 8 - 10 and lord knows I can think of better options than this for somebody's childhood.

Its fun to play, I play it whenever im feeling lazy to play something more complicated, you can actually play it with only one hand, and its fun, if it had multiplayer, either for co-op or pvp it would be waaaaaaaaaaaaay better

Buy it if it's cheap.

It's entertaining, but don't expect it to be as good as Cannon Fodder 1/2. It lacks the fluidity and speed present in CF, also you can't split up squads. Such a comparison would usually be unfair, but Tiny Troopers is basically an unashamed attempt to be an "inspired by Cannon Fodder" type of game.

However it's better than the real Cannon Fodder 3. I'd also say it's better than Foreign Legion or Bunch of Heroes, so buy it if you were thinking of buying any of those. (If you're looking for something slightly less arcadey, look up 'recruits'. It's been greenlit but is not on the store yet. It's on Desura though. Also lookup running with rifles)

The campaign is weird. There's a persistent set of points/money used, which is gained by completing missions. But if you repeatable fail missions not only do your troops die (and therefore you get poorly skilled replacements) but you don't get any money. You often need to spend money to get some one-time only extra troopers, but if you fail the mission and therefore they die. It's as if the mission has cost you negative money! The game has an angry-birds style ability to choose to replay previous missions (complete with a 3-star rating) so I imagine players can grind old missions for money if they need to cash to buy some uber-force for later ones. I didn't have to do that when doing 'campaign 1'. A quick google and I see it's an iOS game with IAP. Now I'm not surprised by the odd campaign structure. ;)

The mouse controls are tricky to use, but very faithful to CF if you've played it. With the mouse, you click and ALL troops immediately go in that direction. If you want to walk one way whilst shooting the other a great amount of mouse dexterity is required (especially to keep a constant speed up). This was one of the major sources of difficulty in the original Cannon Fodder on later bullet-hell style levels and one of the main adrenaline producing factors.

Switching to WADS removes that sense of urgency but presents its own problems. (They're also non-rebindable, grr). The keyboard controls are strange and differ from the mouse controls in that all the people no longer move at once. They turn it into a semi twin stick shooter crossed with 'snake'. i.e. you only move the front guy and the rest follow, meaning that if you change direction most of your squad will staying in place for a second or so as the lead guy moves past them, which makes them easy bullet sponges for the enemy. It's pretty annoying.

I don't know if that quirk of the WADS control scheme is to make it more 'balanced' (as all troops instantly moving in the same direction would substantially reduce the likely-hood of your trailing guys getting shot yet be easier to control), or if it just wasn't thought about at all.

Also: The camera is a bit annoying when shooting, especially on the zombie level.

Overall it's quite fun. If they were to up the walkspeed of everything, make the projectiles slightly smaller, make the projectiles faster, make better walk animations, and fix the annoying WADS snake issue I'd say they'd have a very entertaining games on their hands.

A simple, cute, laid back, fun-for-all-ages kind of game. I enjoyed it. The many facial expressions of the troopers always put a smile on my face. =)

This game delivers simple action with a dash of humor only requiring a modicum of skill to fully complete the missions. There are several control schemes to choose from and the controls are done well and shouldn't be a problem for anyone. The Zombie mode is made up of one map and you unlock gates that lead to the other members of your team, and as you piece together this team you fight off waves of several types of zombies including chickens and kamikazis to name a few. I have enjoyed my time with this game and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good romp through a series of small battles with a handful of destructive weapons and units at their disposal.

I think this game is awesome and hilarious. its good now and if they add muiltiplayer, local co-op,new gamemodes, map builder, and more cool fetures like drivable vehichle units this game would be a blast! it might get boring just going through levels over and over again but if theres one update the whole game could be fun and could be played for hours with non-stop muiltiplayer fun on one big map, in fact you should be able to make your own missions! I recemmend this game to players who want to be able to have not a first person but third-person, party of unit controller and plenty of special abilitys like rpg, airstrike, and gernades

initially i was a bit dissappointed with this game. Overall it looked GREAT but the controls, since this was ported over from a touch interface, were a bit lacking. After the publisher read so many comments about this short-coming they added the ability to use keyboard / mouse for controlling your characters. I would have preferred Twin-Stick controls but I'll take what I can get here. :)

After the update I have been loving this game greatly. Game loads quick, gameplay itself is quick to pick up, and the graphics are, cartoony but, fantastic.

If you enjoy leading some characters around shooting and blasting things you'll have a great time with this title. Also, since everyone must join the bandwagon (and I, for one, love them for it), this game also includes a zombie survival mode. Maps are a bit small for my tastes and it gets a bit hectic sometimes leading your "snake" of men through the environment and zombies, but overall a ton of fun.

In summation, buy this game (on sale or full price) today and support a developer providing great games, and, who listens to their player-base.

Suddenly i'm in my early teens sitting infront of an atari playing cannon fodder :) and when that nastalga wears off you realise you are playing a fun little title that builds on a very similar footing and keeps going. Check out the android version (roll on the single game multi platform license peeps!) as its also as much if not more fun

This is actually a decent top view action shooter. The gameplay is very similar to Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood, but I found Tiny Troopers to be much more fun. During the short 3 chapter campaign, you accumulate points to spend on non-permanent upgrades including a specialist soldier. During the missions, you pickup usable items like grenades, RPGs, and air strikes. Then you collect medals to spend on permanent recruitment upgrades. Your characters gain experience as long as you keep them alive; if they die, you get new fresh troops. The game does lack controller support which would make the gameplay even better, but you can't go wrong for $2. Did I mention the endless zombie survival mode?
