LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is an excellent sequel to LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It portrays the events of Harry's final three years as a student very colorfully. The game employs the use of the films' soundtrack very well. The character count is over 160, which is quite a bit. The spell effects are much snazzier. Hogwarts features many new areas, while removing a few old ones, but for good cause This game is definitely worth picking up for any fan of LEGO or Harry Potter

I was a definite lover of the first Lego HP game on the DS, so I was really excited to buy this one for the PC. And I'm so glad I did! It's hilarious and great fun to play in a casual fashion - although I will say you do definitely need to know the Harry Potter story anyway, as the cinematics contain only grunts and nudges in the traditional Lego game style.
But all in all, this game is fantastic fun and is absolutely hilarious - no less than I expected!

This game completes the LEGO rendering of the Harry Potter stories. I still haven't the foggiest idea what was going on as the game does not have any dialogue in it at all. Despite that I enjoyed this game. Just like the previous game it is done with a lot of humour and there are fun things to interact with throughout the levels. My graphics card struggled a bit when in split screen mode and turning the graphics settings down didn't seem to make any difference either to the performance or to the appearance. If you have played the first game you will want to play this one as well. I enjoyed this so much I am going to go and watch the films to find out what was going on.

I had so much fun with this game! I recommend this for Harry Potter fans only - as you won't understand what's happening if you haven't read the books and seen the movies. The puzzles can get tricky. I got badly stuck quite a few times, but my solution was always the same - destroy EVERYTHING. Maybe this is common idea with LEGO games? I'm not sure, because this is my first. Either way, I immensely enjoyed the artistic style of the world, the somewhat open-world layout, and the hilarious LEGO retelling of the stories. If we had stars to give, I'd give it 5.
