It's as fun as the size of your MP3 collection!. So for me it's endless. P.S. if they cut me off I'm gonna be MAD!

    Pros:
    • Cheaper than Audiosurf 2
    • No RNG for tracks

    Cons:
    • Bland user interface
    • No support for any music services
    • Lots of cheaters on the leaderboard
    • Camera angles are too close for my liking

    Additional Comments:
Get Audiosurf 2 instead, it's much better.

The game is extremly good. And chalangeing.....And awesome....WHAT DO U NEED MORE?! Choose whatever music u want, and u play that song, quite literally ( i reccomend electronic songs, or rock, or something LOUD in general if u get my point). The blocks u collect are in the exact same place where a sound from the music should be (like 90% of the time). This game is just awesome, do u need more? If yes....then.......

    Play it yourself! :P
    Or just read other review's......
    IDK u tell me :bbtduckshark:

One of the best rhythm game I've ever played, its challanging and what's more important, it allows you to play your own music! First I've only got this game to kill some time while waiting for a friend, in fact I made him wait until I finish another track. xD

I had heard of this game many years ago just looking up gameplay from games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Audiosurf seemed like a really unique game with the face that you can play ANY song on your computer since the game automatically generates a path for you. There are many different game modes, but I find myself playing Ninja Mode the most since it's very close to the Guitar Hero/Rock Band highway system where you collect colored blocks and avoid greys.

The intensity of the song determines the speed and traffic of the song. I will say some songs are next-to impossible to play in Ironmode, but those are usually extreme/death metal songs that have an outrageous highway to go through. The auto-generated system works generally well, but some spots still seem either empty or a little difficult for some.

After playing many hours of this game, I am satisfied that I purchased this title. The song selection is endless. Being given the freedom to play any songs from Metallica to Cypress Hill, Doctor P to Filthy Frank/Pink Guy, or even chiptune soundtracks from Shovel Knight or Mega Man. Audiosurf offers the widest variety of songs because it's your list of songs to play from your PC.

Fun game. Imagine Counter Strike Surfing + Ridge Racers + Guitar Hero with no campaign or any weaponry, guitars, etc. Just a straight up casual game that anyone can play using their own music. I highly reccomend to both hardcore and casual gamers. Nothing complex or hard to beat etc. Really good game fun and simplisitic. Reccomended to everyone and anyone! Have fun!

This game is all about hitting coloured blocks to score points. Sounds easy enough, right? It's a simple concept, and easy to start off. Personally, I love this game and I'll usually play it to pass time. It's also a really cool way to see your songs in a visual way. You're bound to love this game if you've played similar rhythm games. I hope you think this is worth the purchase :D

The best game to play while I'm high.

It even has a feature (FreeRide) to pause your game and just enjoy the visuals and music while you smoke some more.

A music game that supports any song you hace on your computer. So no need to unlock or buy anything, just start up the game, choose a song and play. Also has a gamemode that supports fun local co-op gameplay and highscores for any song that you've played.

One of the better casual games available on Steam, highly recommended (Especially if you can get in on sale).

Honestly, when I got this game I wasn't expecting much. It was just something I thought might be fun to get during the steam sale but in reality it would just sit there in my library never to be touched. However, one day I got round to playing it, and I thank the developers so much for making this game. Enjoying your music and collect blocks that pop up to the rhythm of your tunes, this game provides you with a unique experience. This is a game I would recommend playing with a friend as you can enjoy your songs together and play at the same time.

    In any case,
If this one and Audiosurf 2 are selling at same price, I'll buy Audiosurf 2.
If this one is at least 1$ cheaper than Audiosurf 2, I'll buy this one.

Tip:It worth it's price (Only on sale)

... the menus may now be outdated, but the pure, fun gameplay still remains... imagine playing Klax with your own music on a neon speedway and you're almost there... the way the levels pulse and the tracks moves in time with your music is STILL unrivalled, so much so I had to buy Audiosurf 2... still worthy of your time...

    I played AudioSurf 2. Now, I don't.

AudioSurf is godlike. Nothing surpasses the original.
    I don't need Soundcloud support.
    I don't need visual mods.
I don't need new game types.
The pure and untainted Ninja Mono mode is all I need.

    Do you like music?
    Do you like games?
Do you like tracks generated for your music?
    Do you like aliens?

Well apart from the aliens this game has it all. The track gets generated for each track, wich basically means an unlimited ammount of tracks.

I know I haven't played this recently, but it's a good way to relax with some soothing music. My favorites to play through are Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Rite of Spring, and Dvorak's 9th. Maybe I'll try Echoes or Bluebeard's Castle next.
