Savannah is black, horse is twice as fast as quad bike and it takes 14 rifle shots to kill a baby elephant from point-blank.
All my yes.

- Realistic shots. Shoot the legs, that'll disable and/or slow them down. Shoot the head? instant kill. There's lung-shots, heart shots and much more. The animals can also bleed out! Sometimes you even have to put them down...

- A truckload of already-available guns for you to use in your leisure.

- Heavily customisable maps, weather, types of animals that spawn, and more!

- Tents to hide away in! Enough said.

- Would make a good game if it was ported to mobile/tablet devices.

- Bullet-cam options!

- Minor bugs, though they shouldn't really have too much effect on the game, mostly AI-related. Nothing serious like crashing or resolution errors. They actually make the game a bit easier at times! This can be a good or bad thing, depending on the person. The animals running around endlessly in a circle is a notable bug.

- Graphics are a bit dated. Though those who really want to play the game are probably going look past it. Think a "late-2000's era budget game" graphic style.

- This may only be a problem for, or only be noticed by a handful of players, but the profile name text input bar is controlled by the left and right keys. Not a very popular UI design to some.

- Vehicle controls (horse and quad bike)

In short, if you enjoy hidden gems like these, I'd say give it a try. I reckon it's an 8.5/10.

Promptly after spawning in a thick dark wood I saw movement from a far
I pulled up my slick Winchester Auto Rifle
I slowly aimed in the scope and fixed my crosshairs on the brown movement in the brush
With my sights on the creature, I steadied my scope and blink once
The gunshot will always stay imprinted in my brain
The bullet flew into the air and through the trees, its movement traced and watch by an unknown beast
The bullet flew into a baby deers ♥♥♥♥
I slowly walked forward and saw its chest pumping up and down
It spoke to me
"Why me?"
"Kill me"
So I shot forward into the brain
The movement ceased
I closed my computer and went to bed
I couldn't sleep
I only thought...
"Who is the real beast?"

Overall fun game with standard graphics(for the time)

This game is pretty much like that THEHUNTER game with horrible graphics, but I would still play this game over that game.

-its only 10$
-you dont have to buy permits for animals
-its a realistic hunting sim, and is far from any arcade hunting game.

Hunting Unlimited 2010 is a rather fun virtual hunting simulator, designed to allow you to hunt from the comfort of your computer. Various locations around the world are available, as well as various types of prey such as; Deer, Elk, Bear, Lions, Elephants, and more. I, myself enjoyed the simulated hunt in the Northeastern United States with a 30-30 Winchester Lever action, which also happens to be the same type of rifle I own and have hunted with in real life. Various scents, lures, blinds, and more are available to help you in your hunt, as well as an array of various weapon types from Rifles to Crossbows, designed to let you make your simulated hunting experience unique to your style.

I have played hunting simulators in the past and this one ranks up top with the better ones, for its realistic feel and approach. The landscapes are varied and immersive, the ambient noises are a nice touch and the graphics, while not great, aren't so bad you can't enjoy the game. If you enjoy realistic hunting simulator experiences, I would recommend this over one of those Cabela's Hunting games any day.

Hunting unlimited 2010 is a good game for $10.
I am not really a great fan of hunting games or games like that but i had it in the past on disk before i started racing so i thought lets take a trip down memory lane and bought the game.
The graphics are better than i remembered, they are not to bad,but the animals run around in circles most of the time, when i got the game i was hopping they would have updated it for the steam edition, but no such luck.
You can drive a horse and ATV in this game, the driving physics for the ATV are horrible, but its a hunting game not driving simulator.
You can hunt in all hunting conditions and the locations and firearms are plenty.
I definitly recomend this game,it has never crashed on me it could be more realistic when the person dies, that sound a bit bad but when u die in the game the screen just goes red.
I dont have any thing bad to say about the game,i definatly recommend.

This game is amazing. On the surface it may look like a simple, boring game where you spend ages walking around ugly scenery trying to find a specific animal, like a video game in which one searches for a needle in a haystack the size of a planet, BUT THIS IS NOT THE CASE!!!!

This game is really an epic story of love, betrayal, retribution as well as deer slaughter. The main character is actually a deep well thought out character who's constant silence is reflective of the inner turmoil within his very soul, who's feelings are expressed subtely and beautifully in his every step and every slight shake of his constant companion - his gun. This story is expressed through a series of well thought out missions in which the player has to accomplish goals as part of his quest through the in depth world in which this epic is set.

I cannot recommend this game highly enough, it is so good it is the last game you'll ever need to buy with it's never ending replayability. 10/10

This is a good game the only issue I have with it is that it takes for ever to move around the maps looking for animals unless your in a vehicle. Maybe the developers could look at increasing the rate of movement when running. :-)

The graphics are not THAT bad, at least for being 6 years old it was ok. Horse was pretty good, killed some bears and an eagle. A bit boring, but it is a hunting game so the pace was sort of relaxing and the in game sounds had potential to be immersing. Messed around with the map editor, places a ♥♥♥♥♥on of angry grizzlies in the middle of a circle of mountains, with only my double barrel shotgun and some bear bait, it was an exciting challege at first. The AI was a bit weird, the bears circled me and bit me a couple times but it didnt kill me. Moments later, with dozens of bear carcusses around me I was a bit disappointed that it felt easier than it should be. Jumped off a cliff, didnt die. Touched a waiste high deep stream, instant death. Game dosen't let you kill the horse. 7/10. Buy it on sale, it might be worth a few laughs, besides that the page isn't really misleading you should know if it is something you would like or not, its definitely not for everybody. But to scratch an old hunting game nostalgia itch it does the trick

This isn't my kind of game, at all, but I still recommend it. Why? Because, on one hand, it is easy to see exactly what you are getting and whether it is a game for you. Also, on the other, it is very affordable, and, despite not being my kind of game, is actually still kind of fun. The graphics aren't great, to be honest, but aren't terrible for the time when the game was released, and at the same time are probably the biggest weakness, which is saying something. The game is stable with no issues running in Windows 10, has a variety of weaponry and game settings/locations available, and even the mechanics programmed in for animal behavior and such are realistic and stable enough so as to make the experience fairly engrossing. The big downside to the gameplay is that, quite simply, you do need to be the type of person to actually enjoy playing a game simulating hunting. That is, the (sometimes tedious) search for and slow stalking of prey, long periods of simply waiting or slowly crawling into position, etc. If you're the type of person that enjoys more constant activity in your gameplay, then this probably isn't a good choice. On the bright side though, it is a means to go hunting when you're unable/unwilling to do so in real life, and do so for a very low price for what is being offered. Even just the built in shooting range aspect, to get a feel for the various weapons, is far more fun than I was expecting - largely because of the precision targeting and fine tuning of your aim that the game makes both possible and necessary. While the hunting itself can generally be done without quite so much precision being needed, there is a deep satisfaction that comes from getting one's aim just right to hit the most distant bullseye with your chosen weapon. For the price, it's a great choice.

Very frustrating. Game worked the first time I played it, but after that I get no picture. Kind of a waste of 10 bucks. Anyone know what is wrong with it? Using windows 10. When it worked it was fun.

I've played the game for around two hours, but it didnt record my first session. This game is almost identical to the first one, except with a bit more content. Some of the hunts are just plain stupid or tedious however, so it's still not reccomended.
