Age of Empires III is yet another classic RTS Game and a must for your stratagy collection. I origanally got this game when it was released in 2009 and bought the complete collection on steam during a sale to keep it in my steam library. Great game machanics and design, that complete the game series wonderfully. I also love the time setting and back drop of the early American Settlement. Hopefully they bring out more updates in the future or posibly Age of Empires IV. I do find the zooming to be a bit too closefor my liking, even with resolution set to 1080p and zoomed out fully, leaving the player to scroll around the map a lot more than I find comfortable. The game speeds I also found to be a bit extreme, Normal feels far too slow and fast feels way to fast, If this can be modded than I think it would make gameplay even more enjoyable. Overall, the game sill stands up today and if you are into RTS games this is a must.

I may only have 67 hours logged, but I have many more on my old CD version. Overall it is a pretty fun game. While it is true that server hiccup sometimes, issues are typically fixed after a while. If you are an AoE II player, you will find that games are tyically shorter. IMO it is much easier than AoE II and there is a little more variety when it comes to strategy. On the downside, the animations are not the best and, as mentioned befroe, the multiplayer servers do have their problems. Overall, I recommend getting the game if you are an AoE fan, or just a general strategy/RTS fan.

Forever will be the AOE that I grew up with and I am happy to see it is still the same. Still enjoy it and probably will for a while. One of the better strategy games out there and multiplayer is fun too =) As enjoyable as I remembered when I was a kid. 7/10

AoE3 buttom line sucks. Campaige is lame in two ways. First way, it's vaguely set in history. Weird ottoman secret hiden cave tabs. Which kills any links in history unlike AE2 or AE. (A reason that I enjoyed this title.)
Then it sucks more in its own game play mechaincs, No way to remove units in a box select.
I would always end up in Settler units chosen to fight with my troops.
Settlers won't walk far to find new Trees or animals, so you often have to rejob them.
Map is round like Mini Map but in a weird way for a RTS.

An amazing RTS taking place in the "New World" during the colonial age. Great game play that keeps you entertained for hours, continuously coming back wanting more!
excellent strategy game for its time and still today.

Alright, first of all this game is pretty old so its graphics aren't the best but it is still one of my favourite games. It is a strategic game based in the 1700s. You create armies and destroy other cities while growing your own. It takes quite a bit of time but is worth it.

PS: if you get the game and play single player, Press T and type in Tuck tuck tuck

The advanced version of all of ours childhood game. Age of Empires III takes the action to a whole new level with 3D graphics and explosions etc. I liked this game the first time I played it and I still love it the same way until today. This is what a RTS meant to be.

Very awesome RTS, one of the best, I still think AoE 2 is better but that's just a personal preference.

Best game you will ever play if you like RTS games, blows games like starcraft out of the park in every way (except campaign) and though the games (technicly) old now, it doesnt feel like it.

Also add about 500 hours to my play time as i had it on disc back when it was first released and i often play offline.
I have proudly bought this game twice!

My favourite strategy game. Great gameplay, great graphics, great nations and great story. Honestly i can't say a negative thing about this game. Pretty sad they never made Age Of Empires IV.. I would like to see how could they improve this one.
It's a 10/10 game.

A fair sucessor to AoE2 it takes gameplay to a 3D level but keeps the Age of Empires charm. It adds new features like a hero and hunting which add different stratagies to the game. In my opinion the gameplay is quite different to the second AoE which is misleading. Still this game pushes new limits for it's time and retains the live action charm of its previous version.

I purchased the game a few days ago but I cannot find the Asian Dynasties expansion, the only thing I can find in the game is the colony campaign and AoE:III "regular"
Where can I find the rest of the game?

a simply amazing game, the online community can still be very enjoyable and really nice as well, and the online custom game mods add hundreds of hours more, when your done with the campaign or skirmishes
