Momentum Mod Playtest - Gocnak

This update adds some Steam Achievements, proper Defrag HUD support for replays+online, and TONS of fixes!

We're still investigating the lobby connection issues with Steam Support, KZT is in code review, and voice chat is also being cooked up, so stay tuned for future updates!

  • Added -shadowatlassize launch parameter to specify clustered shadow atlas dimensions. Must be power of two
  • Added a console warning for when the clustered shadow/cookie atlases are full
  • Added a flag to `light_rt` and `light_rt_spot` to force shadows to update every frame
  • Added some Steam Achievements, have fun unlocking them! (game/issues/1151)
  • Added support for $treesway to PBR. The material parameters match VertexLitGeneric
  • CSM fix entity tool
  • FGD flag values can now have description (currently not visible in any UI)

  • Defaulted cl_threaded_bone_setup to 1 to fix jittery ghost animations (game/issues/2463)
  • Disable mom_mv_df_clip_speed_ground in VTG
  • Don't prime the timer if the player has any KZ checkpoints (game/issues/2497)
  • Improved performance of client side entity classname comparisons
  • Made low OS memory warning print a little bit less often
  • Players will now be warned when they're trying to join an incompatible lobby via the drawer (game/issues/2516)
  • Record movement data for Defrag HUD
  • Restored the behavior where a trigger_catapult pointing straight up multiplies its speed by 1.5x, to keep backwards compatibility with existing maps
  • Set sv_accelerate to 10 and sv_friction to 4 for VTG
  • TF2 rockets will now properly go the full grid length instead of 2000 units (toggle via mom_tf2_rocket_use_max_extents) (game/issues/1816)
  • filter_activator_class matching the class name tf_projectile_rocket now works with Momentum Mod rockets
  • func_button OnDamaged output only activates once per shot instead of once per bullet impact, matching Team Fortress 2 behavior

2. Removal of Level-Based Unlock System

Previously, songs were unlocked progressively based on account level.

Following user feedback that this system felt inconvenient, we have completely removed the level-based unlock table. All songs are now available to play freely regardless of account level.

※ A new unlock system will be introduced in a different form in a future update.

3. Other Improvements
  • Fixed an issue where certain UI elements in the Leaderboard / Leaders menu were not functioning properly.

  • Corrected a typo (“Attack” message) appearing in the BGA of 〈Sweetronic〉.

Version 1.3.5 is now live! This update includes several diary-related fixes and refinements:

Update Details:

  • Fixed multiple diary display issues.

Hello Knights, Alice here!

Tonight we're putting out Patch 004, which carries with it some new UI features, cosmetics, and a heap of bug fixes! Let's take a look at what's changed.

Changelog:
Full Clear Medallions
  • Tracks will now show emblems for full-clears in Track Select

  • A full-clear medallion will now be displayed next to scores in difficulty selection

Cosmetics
  • A trinket for the Godot game engine has been added

  • A Diamond Skin has been added as a reward for collecting all 100 gems

Settings
  • The settings menu has gotten a bit of an overhaul to improve navigation and clutter, which will support future expansion as new settings are added

  • Added an audio slider for gameplay specific SFX

  • Added axis inversion for gamepad joysticks

  • Increased maximum cursor sensitivity from 3 to 5

  • Increased maximum frame limit from 144hz to 360hz

  • Removed "Touchscreen" input device until support is fully realized

Bugfixes
  • Fixed a bug which was preventing some players from receiving rewards for finishing Purple's story even after finishing the game
    (If this occurred, Purple's understanding rewards should be awarded upon loading the save file)

  • Fixed a bug preventing modded tracks from properly displaying their frame shapes

  • The mouse cursor should now be confined to the gameplay window at all times

  • Fixed a bug causing the character to slightly slide during conversations, breaking some cutscenes

  • Fixed a rounding error in the calculation of Overtime

  • The Guidebook will now properly present examples of Rating Indicators

  • Fixed a bug causing improper stretching of Twister decorations

We are excited to announce Fawn the Florist final release is coming November 21st, 3 pm AEST!

What you can expect in your final garden:

  • After many requests we can now confirm the final game will support MAC OS!

  • Fawn will no longer aimlessly walk over your plots and now occasionally help around your garden with watering & harvesting

  • NEW Fawn Quests will be available to complete Fawn's story

  • TWO NEW mystical flowers can be unlocked that were not available on the Demo

  • UNLOCK all items, collect coins & upgrade your critters to collect all the Fawn the Florist Steam achievements

  • Additional bug fixes and refinements to enhance your gardening experience
