Hey everyone!

After months of quiet work, SELINI is finally coming together. The game is now fully playable with 3 endings, all boss fights, menus, save slots, Steam achievements etc.



We’re aiming to release in Q1 2026, possibly February, but there’s still some work left, mostly filling in empty rooms with graphics and testing everything thoroughly to make sure it’s as good as it can be.

Thank you so much for playing the game. It's been over a week since we launched, and we're incredibly grateful for all your feedback! We're keeping an eye on all the bugs and suggestions you send in the Discussions section, and we're working on and considering them all.

We’ve been working on improving the girls’ room UI. The logic behind it has been updated, so it should now behave more consistently, with fewer bugs and a better overall experience on PC. Thank you for your patience while we worked on this!
We’ve also made improvements to the UI buttons. Now, when you select them, they’ll have a clearer visual highlight, making it easier to see where your cursor is and improving overall navigation.
And finally, we’re excited to announce that the Steam Trading Cards are now live! You can start collecting them right away, along with badges, emoticons, and profile backgrounds.
As always, we’re still working on more fixes and quality-of-life improvements, and your feedback helps us prioritize what to focus on next. We hope your stay in this mansion is as pleasant as possible!

We present our development roadmap for October 2025.
This month’s roadmap focuses on three main areas:

  • A new system that allows NPCs to freely construct buildings,

  • The introduction of the Companion System, a more advanced version of the existing follower system that includes features such as outfit customization,

  • And various improvements to player convenience, graphics, and optimization.

Additionally, some tasks that were not completed in the September roadmap have been included this month as well.


(Content / Systems)
  • NPC Companion System and related content (Trial Implementation)
    A new companion system based on unique local characters will be introduced, replacing the previous follower system. Existing followers will now serve as subordinates.

  • Inventory slot expansion

  • Introduction of the Advanced Building (Construction Site) System

  • New System: Constructing artificial structures for NPC factions
    Players can now build artificial structures for NPCs of other factions to earn fame and rewards.

  • Additional side missions

  • Improved Yutnori rules (includes “Backdo” and others)

  • New herbs added

  • Axe automatic attack + heavy attack features added (using the pre-improvement “upright stance” animation)


(Convenience / Optimization / Graphics)
  • Improved flame effects

  • Added graphics brightness adjustment option

  • Memory optimization improvements

  • Added Steam Deck support

  • Added support for WASD–arrow key remapping

  • Improved alternating attacks for dual-direction weapons when striking at the center

  • Added option to disable screen shake during hits

  • In Defense multiplayer, detailed player distance indicators are now displayed

  • Updated and optimized roof-tile building graphics

  • Improved and optimized tree modeling


(Structures)
  • Added buildable structures for citizen factions

  • Added a well in the first chamber of caves

  • Added a well to the front yard of purchased houses

  • Added new ruins

  • Added additional building types


(NPC / Factions)
  • Added 2–3 recruitable NPC companions placed around ruins and other areas

  • Non-combat NPCs will now perform actions when near a campfire

  • Homeless NPCs will now be prioritized for placement when new artificial structures are created


(Balance)
  • Increased long-term lodging prices

  • Increased growth speed for item crafting-related stats

  • Increased stamina cost for unarmed attacks

  • Slightly increased player unarmed attack speed

  • Increased maximum horse speed


(Miscellaneous)
  • Official soundtrack now available for purchase

  • Improved Steam Cloud synchronization


We will continue to apply bug fixes and detailed improvements on an ongoing basis.

While we may not be able to reflect every piece of feedback due to differences in direction or development difficulty, we always select and incorporate several suggestions from our official Discord community into each month’s roadmap.

This game is being developed with genuine passion and care.
Though it may not be a AAA title, we will keep adding fun new content and refining weak areas during Early Access so that it can remain a memorable and enjoyable experience for all players.

Although it was difficult to do so this time, the November 2025 roadmap will focus heavily on improving the early-game experience for new players — an area we have admittedly neglected.
We ask for the kind understanding of our long-time players.
