We are happy to announce that Bite the Crown's demo is released again for Steam Next Fest with significant updates. Now, you can enjoy the whole new tutorial sequence, lots of new features and more quests and events. The demo includes:

The first dungeon of Bite the Crown where Pom was born. The ruthless Candy Kingdom brainwashes the innocent snacks here by packaging them. Now, it's your time to put a end to this cruelty!

Pom has a great ambition. But, it's a team work. The guild will always be Pom's side on this journey under his leadership! Send your members to the missions, gather intel on the Kingdom's acts and prevent them from happening! Improve the guild and gain valuable resources and skills on your way to freedom.

The land of the Candies and Snacks is under the oppression. You will get a glimpse of it from the main square of the Chocolate Neighbourhood with some citizens around! And, they all have something to say to this rule!

First off, we wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of you who joined us on this unique journey in the Kingdom of Corolla. Your support means the world to us! Thank you for all of the love and kind words you've shared. 🌹

Over the past week, we’ve been closely monitoring your feedback and identifying the top issues to address. Today, we're releasing Patch 1.0, which includes several important fixes based on your feedback. We appreciate your input as the team continues to work on creating the best experience possible for players! The team is already hard at work on the next patch, which will be coming later this month. Stay tuned! Here are the key fixes and improvements included in this patch:

• Fixed an issue causing players to occasionally lose input and “hold your breath” UI in a hiding spot, specifically in the shower room in Chapter 4

• Fixed a collision issue causing Lana to get stuck in the walls after climbing down in the lower part of the future Library in Chapter 7

• Fixed an issue occasionally preventing Lana from interacting with the crank in the Sewing Room in Chapter 4

• Fixed a rare infinite loading issue when trying to go back to the dancing room after leaving in Chapter 6

• Fixed a rare issue blocking Lana in the searching animation after finding the crank during the boss fight in Chapter 5

• Fixed an issue causing the mannequin to occasionally appear twice in the Sewing Room in Chapter 4

• Made it impossible for the player to go through the gate in the Sewing Room before fully opening it, preventing a softlock in Chapter 4

• Fixed a rare infinity loading issue when reaching the Tower in Chapter 10

• Fixed an issue in the Sewing room where the mannequin wouldn't fall from the top level, blocking Lana on the crate and preventing progression

We’ll continue working on additional fixes, optimizations and improvements across all platforms to ensure the smoothest possible experience for everyone. Thank you once again for your patience and feedback!

💬What is Cut The Grass?
✅Cut The Grass is a unique survival game that mixes peaceful daytime farming with intense nighttime combat.
During the day you mow grass, collect resources, and upgrade your base - but when night falls, monsters attack and you must defend your farm to survive!

💬What’s in the Demo?
✅In the demo, you can:
-Defend your farm from waves of enemies
-Explore and gather resources during the day
-Try a few starter weapons and buildings and unlock upgrades
-Play solo or co-op with up to 4 players online
-Coordinate, share resources, and fight together to survive longer

💬How many maps?
✅The demo features one main map and the tutorial map.

💬What are the controls? (Default Keyboard Layout)

💬 Can I play solo?
✅Yes! You can play solo and see how long you can survive. But beware - surviving alone is way harder!
Invite your friends and team up for better chances (and more fun)!

💬 How does Co-op work?
✅Up to 4 players can play together online.
You can host or join a lobby.
Work together to defend the farm, share loot, and coordinate your upgrades.
Communication and teamwork are key!

💬What can I build or upgrade?
✅You can use collected resources to:
Build defenses like barricades or turrets
Sell resources to obtain money
Upgrade your character

💬What happens when I lose?
✅When gold piggy bank at the center of farm is destroyed - all players lose!
Your total number of days survived will appear in the main menu.
That’s the number to use for your contest submission !

💬 Any tips for new players?
✅Don’t waste time during the day - gather as many resources as possible before night falls.
Stick together at night - monsters are tougher when you split up.
Buy at least one rifle early!
Keep moving and watch your surroundings - tall grass can hide both loot and danger.
