We've listened to all of your great ideas and concerns from our previous demo and we've worked hard on improving our game.

Here is a list of changes for the new demo:

1. Overhaul of how the game loads between screens -> much improved performance

2. Redone logics and behaviours of most enemies -> improved enemies

3. Improved Dahlia and Axo's animations and behaviour -> better character controls

4. Added some mini-boss fights -> fun

5. Redone the level design according to some new narrative changes -> improved rhythm of demo

6. Added some new music and sound designs -> much fun

7. and last but not least - a boss fight -> epic fun

Hey everyone! We're the Seed Lab team, the creators of Starsand Island! A huge thank you for all your support and enthusiasm. This Free Demo offers a little taste of farm life on Starsand Island. Each save file lets you enjoy a full 5-day cycle (about 2.5 hours), and you can create multiple saves to explore everything the game has to offer.

Here's a closer look at the main gameplay features available in this demo — from daily life to magical adventures, you can fully enjoy island life.

Farming

You can start from basic plots and expand to planting boxes and trelises, trying out different different ways to grow. You'll find everything from everyday crops like wheat and potatoes to more magical varieties. Keep an eye out for surprise "bountiful harvests," grow Gmax crops, and use crafting equipment to make all sorts of tools.

Crafting

From Apprentice to Intermediate levels, you can craft basic mobility items such as skateboards and rollerblades, and upgrade tools to collect resources more efficiently.

Ranching

Care for charming animals, build a bond with them, and receive their delightful gifts.

Fishing

Cast a line in lakes, rivers, or the sea to reel in a variety of fish. Later on, you can build your own fish ponds and aquariums for breeding and display.

Island Life

Buy land to expand your home, build farms, houses, and stations. With the DIY system, you can design everything your own way, making each homestead one-of-a-kind.

• Residents: Every islander has their own unique skills and personalities. Increasing Affection can unlock special stories. In this demo, you can unlock up to 2 hearts of Affection with them.

• Tourists: These island visitors may ask you for help, adding more interactive and fun moments to your cozy life on the island.

• Land Rides: Skateboards, rollerblades, and mini motorbikes, some of which can be customized via the game's DIY system.

• Water Vehicles: Speedboats, bamboo rafts, and more.

• Special Mounts: You might just befriend some unique island animals. With enough trust, they could even let you ride them as you travel across the island.

Cute animals such as cats, dogs, capybaras, and squirrels are all available. You can increase their Affection by feeding and petting them, unlock more interactions, and even adopt them to create a pet paradise at home.

You can also try your hand at bug catching, photography, and watch your skills grow as you master your chosen Professions, adding even more variety to your island days.

This Free Demo brings together the heart of Starsand Island's gameplay and a glimpse of what's to come. By playing and sharing your thoughts, you help us understand how island life feels to you.
