Hey everyone, the game is now completed, but I did the mistake of uploading the build on Steam later than I should have (13 of October), so I'm waiting for an answer by Steam (all should be okay), then I will finally have an accurate date, sorry again for the inacurracy, it wasn't smart to be late on that.

The game will be uploaded as soon as possible, so keep your eyes on the screen!

Game Progress Update: Intro and Tutorial testing!

We have gotten a few test players' feedback on the starting area and first puzzle, and have learned we need to introduce the mechanics a bit better at the beginning. While addressing this, we're kicking off towards writing the first of three acts that you'll go through while traversing this sad and struggling kingdom!

Overall, game dev is a very new venture for us in a medium we're not accustomed to, so while it's going slower than we hoped we feel we're adapting well all things considered.

Hey everyone, just a quick note to let you know that we've fixed all the problems with the Workshop; therefore, you can now post, browse, and download levels.

We are going to leave the demo online even after the Steam Next Fest so that everyone who downloaded it can have a shot at creating the best levels they can, even for the weeks to come.

Starship Datadrive - 4000+ Combat Power - Rewards 6 Weapon Components on first completion.

Second raid added:

Simulation Shenanigans - 5000+ Combat Power - Rewards 6 Support Components on first completion.

I won't spoil these. Have music enabled when starting Simulation Shenanigans for optimal fun.

Missions screen optimized to only spawn when viewed instead of being always spwned in and inactive.

Engine updated to apply a critical security fix.

Short and sweet, here are the details of the patch!

 

Improvements:
  • Added Time Remaining to each Kings Road Permit

  • Added Damage Reduction to items in Ivernox Padded Crates

  • Picking up objects in heavily congested areas will not act like it weighs 1,000lbs

  • Added reduced visibility, weather when crossing over mountains

  • Performance tweaks

  • Testing Cart physics change

  • Road Signs with distances

  • Better Box/Crate Lid checks when loading a save

  • Ale Barrel temporarily added to Ivernox Spirits Trader

  • Updated Player Stats Menu

  • Added Save Icon when auto-save or manual save occurs

  • Adjusted Player start position to prevent underwater render fog bug

Save-breaking update.

Should now prompt you to delete old saves.

I changed the data structures quite a bit for the old quest and dialogue history systems. I can't promise I won't break saves a year from now, but for next few months at least, I'll try to make version porting scripts for old saves now that I've done some work to prepare the most troublesome systems for eventual updating. Here's a list of added features. (I'll add more to this list in a day or so when I have time to comb through all my unreleased updates chagelogs.) :

The Zee fight has been redesigned.
