Shatterland - Althurius

Hey Survivors,

A lot of players have mentioned feedback about the character position and the feeling of “bubbling” movement when walking or aiming. I want to thank everyone who took the time to report it and share their thoughts it really helps me make Shatterland feel smoother and more immersive.


🧍 Character Position Rework

I’ve reworked the character camera and position system to make it feel more natural and closer to what you’d experience in high-quality third-person shooters.

To achieve this, I took inspiration from Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, adjusting the angle, offset, and shoulder view to give a better sense of control and space around the player.

This change should:

  • Improve visibility and aiming comfort.

  • Make the character feel better aligned with the crosshair.

  • Reduce the awkward movement offset that some players noticed.


🏃 Movement “Bubbling” Issue

I’m also aware that some of you noticed small movement bubbles a slight up-and-down or floaty feeling when walking or sprinting.
I’m currently working on smoothing the character animation blending to remove that issue and make movement feel tighter, more grounded, and more responsive.

Hey guys,

hope you've all been enjoying the game so far.

It's been so nice seeing everyone's feedback and it's been so helpful to my process. I want you guys to know that myself and DreadXP are working to get a roadmap out to you guys so you know where my head's at regarding future content.

Currently, I'm working on some new jobs for you guys as well as some new weapons to play around with. Since I'm basically a one-man-show, I need to make sure I apply my time correctly and focus on the important shit first.

So, for right now, I'm gonna try my best to get new content out to you soon. I'm working on a roadmap right now that will have some more details that I will be able to share soon!

But for the time being, I'm gonna get back to it and do some planning. Talk to you guys soon, and I hope you're excited for the future of PIGFACE!

Based on player testing feedback and bug submission suggestions at the current stage, we have fixed the following issues

*Fixed the issue where the player's teleportation card was turned off due to turning back during teleportation in the Infinite Hall corridor;

*Fixed the issue of monsters in the office area getting stuck by some objects in the scene;

*Fixed the loud sound of water flow when players were resurrected after death in the Hundred Window Court map;

*Fixed the issue of ESC not returning to the game button in the game (purely due to carelessness);

*Fixed the issue of players getting stuck while hiding under desks in the office area;

*Fixed the issue where players could switch between flashlights and night vision devices during the storyline;

*Fixed the issue where players could simultaneously turn on their flashlights in night vision mode

*Fixed the issue where some objects were set improperly, causing the map to get stuck;

The following content has been added

*Added night vision device footsteps, allowing players to open the night vision device to view footprints on the ground and play games;

*Office keyboard decryption computer modification guide. After entering the screen, you need to use the mouse to click on the numer keyof the in-game computer for input, instead of using a keyboard or other input tools;

Cooking Live - Italian Kitchen Simulator - Victoria S.
Jane’s been asked to shoot a TV program called “Cooking Strike” to show off her incredible cooking skills, and she needs to complete five levels in a row to make sure she’s ready!

While you complete the levels to get ready for the show, the TV crew will bring some more professional equipment.

If you fail a level, your progress will be reset and you’ll have to start from the beginning!
You can try as many times as you want. The TV show’s paying for the food, so you won’t be using yours up.

When you finish the fifth level you’ll receive a big reward that includes booster parts, Coins, Rubies, and blog points!



If you don’t complete all the levels before the event ends, don’t worry. You aren’t losing anything, and there’ll always be another TV program!

Hey Outlaws!

Here is a new demo update with version 0.04 for you!

  • Players' clothing is now displayed correctly after other players join

  • Tower Defense Mode now works correctly again

  • After sprinting with the Colt "Peacemaker", you can aim directly again

  • Rebalancing of the Tower Defense Zombie Spawner. Now the zombies are significantly stronger the darker it becomes

  • Adjusted some spawners in Team Death Match and Conquest in Brightstone

  • Fixed a door in Jackson where the zombies got stuck

  • The Ghoul have now 10 Healthpoints more

  • Brightstone Night is now brighter in Tower Defense and Zombie Mode and darker in Jackson

  • The weather is now more dynamic in both maps in co-op game mode

  • UI adjustments on Join Game and Player Tags

I'm very proud to say that AETHUS was picked for the Official Selection at SXSW Sydney this year!

The game will have a physical booth at the show on October 15/16, and will participate in the Steam festival from October 18-24th!

Huge thanks to the SXSW Sydney team, particularly Peak, for featuring a game from outside Australia and allowing for games like mine to be showcased 'remotely' at such an awesome show.

Welcome to our Community Update #1: Steam Next Fest Edition. The team has been working very hard to get this demo up and running for everyone to play. Here are some of the things that have been worked on for this demo & more upcoming!

Design:
