Added content:
  • You can now walk around in the 'Captain cabin'. This is the room the map is in. This was always to be intended to be in the game as a gimmick but for some reason I never could never find a satisfying way to activate this mode. I now decided on one: You can activate this mode this by clicking on stuff that is lying on the table...
  • When walking around in the 'Captain cabin'... you might find the secret level AND the accompanied achievement.
  • I made sure the secret level is actually working correctly. It was a prototype for what actually would become FtG2, and this map is a recreation of a map from the first Find the Gnome game. The original idea being that FtG2 would just be a remodel of FtG1, but eventually FtG2 became something different due to the added story and the way better integration of mechanics than any FtG1 upgrade could ever be.

QoL:
  • You can now close the tutorial window if you are at the last dialog.
Death Machine Playtest - Philtacular

Fixed a race condition causing the Skull hoard and Demon Shop to load incorrectly.

Standard checkpoint rooms are now marked as discovered by default.

Reverted dashing to lock facing.

Hopefully fixed an issue where the player could become stuck on ledges without properly executing a mantle.

Pluto - 11orbs

If you are having issues launching the Demo, please try launching through Steam and trying both OpenGL and Vulkan renderers.

This patch we've made the following changes:

  • Added an FAQ section

  • Added a Hotkey menu with rebinding

  • Added Gold events to the Map

  • Added new rings to Act 1 (defeat the Warden to find the old rings)

  • Added new Echo spells and buffed the existing ones

  • Shop Spell Packs now contain 4 Spells

  • Updated the Tutorial

  • Updated tooltips for some Status Effects and Artifacts that were not described accurately

  • Crystallize is now projected in Wizard Vision, similar to Block

  • Armor now activates at the beginning of your turn and grants Block when gained.

  • Spell tooltips have been moved to not block fingers

  • Fixed Spell Die so that Empower gained is not immediately lost

  • Fixed a bug that would cause all rings of the same type to indicate they are triggering when any are triggered. 

  • Shrunk some textures for the Giant (we believe these were causing crashes)

  • The game now should default to your primary monitor on first boot

  • Fixed Windowed mode

  • Fixed a crash when opening a Spell Slab

  • Fixed Abandon Run stalling for some players

  • Fixed bug allowing you to click the Cast button while viewing your deck

  • Fixed Spell sorting - when multiple Spells are triggered by the same finger, they will cast in the same order they are shown in left-to-right in your hand.

  • Added setting to either Hold or Toggle Alt to expand tooltips

  • Added setting to invert mouse wheel scroll

  • Added setting to disable screen transitions

Fixed : Enemies detection cones : when in sloping ground, sometimes enemies don't detect the player
Fixed : Class mastery perks are not all applied correctly, such as speed boost and hit boost
Fixed : Drone : in solo modes, sometimes the drone service call responds with the "can't afford this" sound, but it's wrong

Been working on this for a week now, after the initial demo release a lot of bugs became apparent, hotfixed the game breaking ones but still there were a lot!!

There should be only a few left now!! Which will get fixed!!

The game should be in a pretty playable state now!!

Started working on the localisations and it has been straight up just pain, did most of what i can.... still working on it.......

After all of the bugs are fixed, will start to work on more wacky maps, powerups and even other gamemodes! Stay tuned!! :D
