Hey everyone!

We've taken a short break on development recently to ensure we're taking the right steps for Hell's Bells, but now we're back.

What's been in the works:

Cruelle's Ritual is now wired end-to-end. Six cards. One choice. A path that does not forgive.

We've tuned the reveal so it sits inside the scene so no menu, no break, just breath and consequences. Keyboard input is clean (1-6), rollback is disabled at the moment of commitment, and repeat attempts now shift the ground beneath you.

What changed this week:

  • Ritual flow: Cards remain visible during dialog, choice overlays pause input cleanly with no more accidental skips.

  • Variability: Mapping for Cruelle can be shuffled per attempt, increasing replay variance without breaking the pace.

  • UI Clarity: A major UI overhaul has taken place to introduce a new reactive main menu, thematic dialog box, and much more. Text prompts and timing windows are sharper.

  • Stability: Fixed edge cases with screens eating clicks and misbehaving. Cleaned up route indexing and label scoping to prevent softlocks.

Currently in progress:

  • Sister Chastity and Sister Mercy will inherit the same ritual framework, just tweaked to suit their characteristics with new plates, new paths, and distinct flavours.

  • Writing Passes: Dialog tightens where it should cut, making the sisters meaner.

We're not hurrying the descent, we're making sure the floor holds when you step.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

It’s been over two months since we released the Mr. Nomad Demo for public testing, and we want to say a big Thank You to everyone who played and shared feedback with us! Your thoughts and suggestions have been very valuable and helped us shape the direction of the game.

We’ve listened carefully and we are planning to make huge changes to the final concept of Mr. Nomad. Because of that, the current demo will gradually become outdated as development continues. With this in mind, we’ve decided to remove the demo until a new and updated version becomes playable. We also understand that many of you told us the game feels not completed - we want to assure you that the full game will be better and it was only a demo version that was available.

We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to test the demo and share your thoughts - it means a lot to us. We’ll keep you posted on future updates and upcoming playtests, where you’ll get another chance to experience the improved version of Mr. Nomad!

Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids - kcgbsf

Hello brain-squishers,

We know it’s been a while, but the next update is around the corner! It will bring some bug fixes, Skirmish Pack 2 with a difficulty rebalance, and a brand-new Area Control multiplayer map. We just need a few more days to resolve all technical issues on our side, since this is a simultaneous cross-platform update.

The new Area Control map is out of control! It’s very cool, we are playing it every day and are having a blast. Skirmish on the hardest difficulties here is a real brain-melter, and we can’t wait to do the update for you to try it. For those of you who’re not looking for the toughest challenge on the Mothership, Skirmish’s easier difficulties are more relaxed.

Due to the numerous issues that players encounter when trying to create a co-op session, we'd like to clarify the Friend's Pass mechanics.

Please, DO NOT try to invite your friend to your game via Steam invitations, if they don't own the full game and use Friend's Pass version. Just send them a room code that you'll get after creating a game session, and you'll be good to go!

The Posthumous Investigation - nataliasena

Dear fans and friends,

Over the past few years, we’ve poured our hearts into The Posthumous Investigation, striving to create an experience worthy of Machado de Assis’s brilliance.

The response we’ve received both from Brazil and abroad has been beyond anything we imagined. At Tokyo Game Show, we watched players from across the world fall in love with our characters and noir atmosphere inspired by classic Brazilian literature.

That incredible reception inspired us to go further.

To make sure players everywhere can experience the story from day one, with Japanese and Chinese translations, we’ve decided to move the release to Fabruary 2026.

We know waiting isn’t easy, but this decision is about respect for our community for everyone who’s supported us from the start and for new players discovering Machado’s world for the first time.

We want everyone to begin this investigation together, on the same day, in their own language.

The Boss Gangsters : Nightlife - BEF GAMES

Hey Bosses,
Based on your feedback, we’ve fixed several issues and made some balance adjustments. We’re working non-stop to deliver the best possible experience!

  • Hot dog stands can now sell 5 items at once. You can set the sales amount yourself — but don’t overdo it, the cops are watching you closely now!

  • Speaking of which, the police will now track your crimes more closely. Don’t forget to visit the station from time to time and “grease the chief’s palm.”

  • Drink prices have been increased. You’ll now earn more money from your club.

  • Car theft timer increased by +3 seconds (except for the Lambo, of course 😉).

  • Additional notifications have been added.

  • Hospital treatment costs reduced.

  • A critical bug that broke the game during attacks has been fixed.

  • You’ll no longer get fined when NPC cars kill pedestrians. (Still, avoid parking on sidewalks — we’ve got a few things left to fix there!)

  • Loyalty display bug for shops under your protection has been fixed. Visiting them occasionally will now show real-time loyalty changes.

  • Adjustments made to the stolen car selling system — warnings, unsellable cars, and locked doors have all been fixed.

  • Increased the health of your family gangsters.

  • Weapon damage has been increased and rebalanced.

  • Sound levels have been fine-tuned.

  • And many other small bug fixes and improvements.
