Work on improving the game server performance is still ongoing. Until full optimization is completed, stricter limits on the maximum number of players per room have been applied, and network notifications for players joining and leaving the game and rooms have been disabled.

🔧 HUD & Info Menu

The HUD is now even more configurable – you decide which ship stats should be displayed.

Your settings are saved, so your setup always stays just the way you want it.

The Info Menu now features two brand-new sections:

  • 📊 Stats – keep track of your most important values. Decide exactly what should be shown during gameplay.

  • Active Buffs – instantly see which effects are currently active and what they mean. No stress – the Info Menu always pauses the game.

🗺️ Minimap Improvement:

  • Adjustable & saveable minimap size – small & compact or large & detailed, the choice is yours.

  • Reworked player icon with facing direction – instantly see where you are and where you’re heading.

🎵 Main Menu

  • Fresh new look & feel!

  • A brand-new main theme sets the perfect sci-fi atmosphere right from the start.

👉 This update is another step towards clearer information, better overview, and more player comfort.

Balance Updates
  • Zombie Bite damage reduced: 700 → 250
  • Zombie HP reduced: 2000 → 1500

NPC Improvements
  • NPCs now chase targets when attacked from long range (ignores max aggro range once engaged).
  • Fixed a bug where NPCs continued attacking after death.
  • NPCs return to spawn if they wander too far or lose their target:
    • While returning, they’re invulnerable and fully heal at spawn.
  • Added a threat/aggro system → NPC targeting now depends on player damage.
  • New AI modding fields (per NPC):
    • ai.aggroLockDuration: aggro lock duration override (ms, default 5000)
    • ai.switchThreshold: threat multiplier needed to switch targets (default 1.2)
New Game Mode: Dungeon
  • Added Dungeon Mode, with a sample dungeon included.
  • VIP/Boss mechanic → the game ends when a designated NPC is defeated.
  • Fog of War → unexplored areas are hidden until revealed.



Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a server crash that could occur when a match ended.

Space Mechanics: repair | hiring | crafting - faimouz493

Dear space mechanics,

This improved the realism of the game and changed the prices for some items in the store.

Now the spaceship arrives with parts, before it arrived without them and this spoiled the immersion in the game.

Using an item for automatic repair, the parts are replaced with new ones, it is clear that the parts have really been replaced, before the parts remained unrepaired, but the spaceship was considered repaired.

Added a flight sound, now during the flight the sound of a jetpack is emitted, and when accelerating, the sound increases.

Changed the prices for mercury, low-quality uranium and brass, now they are cheaper so that it would be more profitable to create items.

Bug fixes.

Bug # 1 - in multiplayer, batteries were copied when charging teleports.

Bug # 2 - in multiplayer, stars changed their location depending on the position of the player who entered.

Bug #3 - when charging uranium rods, if you disconnect 1 battery, the charging sound still continues.

🎶 Weekly Update #9 – Sounds, Fixes & More!

This week we’re finally adding sound options to Idle Life – plus a round of bugfixes that smooth out some long-standing issues.

🔊 New Settings

Two new options are now available in the Settings menu:
Notification Sound Settings – control the volume or disable quest and system notifications.
Background Sounds Settings – yes, finally! Background music has been added. It’s not the fanciest soundtrack in the world, but it’s 100% copyright free and self-made – so it’s here to stay.

🐞 Bug Fixes

We’ve squashed a variety of issues this week:
• Fixed a bug where daily quests would sometimes not refresh at midnight.
• Fixed inventory tooltips overlapping on smaller resolutions.
• Fixed mining progress bars not resetting properly after switching tabs.
• Fixed scratch cards occasionally giving no reward at all.
• Fixed casino token prices not updating after daily reset.
• Fixed UI scaling issues in the shop when resizing the game window.
• Fixed achievements not triggering immediately after quest completion.
• Fixed crafting recipes showing duplicate icons in rare cases.
• Fixed arena monsters not displaying correct stats in certain fights.
