This month’s update will be a little shorter, as our team has been fully focused on preparing the next Montabi Demo Update, planned for release by the end of the year. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly and we can launch it right on time!

Huge thanks to the July playtesters for helping us validate new features, like the equipment system, card removal, and more. These updates will be coming to the demo soon!

Some of you may have already experienced parts of this new content during our previous playtests, but believe me, there’s a lot of new stuff here! Every Montabi has received new skills, so even if you’ve played before, we highly recommend diving back in to try the updated demo.

We’re especially excited that the demo now supports multiple languages, making Montabi more accessible to players around the world.

Fixed a long-standing bug that failed to select appropriate stadiums for matches held in centralized stadiums in the AFC Cup's third round.

A random stadium will be used and displayed for matches played in a neutral venue.


Added a "Random" option to the "First leg home team" setting.



Fixed the "Custom number of group rounds" setting in group stages.


The home team for each FA Cup match up to the semi-finals is now selected randomly. The semi finals and final are played in neutral stadiums. There is no third-place play-off.

If you’re a completionist and have been struggling to find those last few buttons, fear not!

Today we’re releasing the ✨Coin Detector✨!

After collecting 90 out of 100 buttons, you can activate it right at the level entrance. You can customize the coin detector mode and sound in the gameplay settings.

But that’s not all! Our collectibles have had a bit of an identity crisis lately…

Now you can choose what you want to collect! Perfect if you happen to suffer from koumpounophobia (that’s the fear of buttons, by the way 👀).

Here are some additional fun updates and sound improvements we shipped with his update! Some of them were highly requested… others were just too good not to add! 😄

• Added an accessibility setting to keep the controls overlay from the tutorial visible all times or also get rid of the task list UI for nice screenshots

• Added a special siren sound to the toy cars (because someone really wanted that wee woo, wee woo 😉) - Only works if you stand on the car

• Added satisfying keyboard click sounds when walking over keyboards in the Office level

• Updated new silverware sounds in the Kitchen for extra shine and clink
