This update focuses on tightening level design and improving the overall feel of combat. We've gone through all core scenes to reinforce boundaries, polish gameplay feedback, and make the early game experience a bit more forgiving - especially when it comes to parrying.

Feature Improvements:

Scene Fixes & Wall Prevention

We have created a tool which let's us scan a scene and map out zones, based on weather they are covered by walls of sufficient hight or not. Thanks to that, we were able to focus on preventing players from escaping the intended walkable areas and falling out of the world. Here’s what’s been addressed:

  • All known spots where players could climb over walls and leave the map have been fixed.

  • Every main scene has been reviewed and updated with extra preventive measures to block unintended exits.

  • Note: Sandstorm-level scenes will receive the same treatment in an upcoming patch.

  • Destroyable objects placed on walls will now drop their materials next to the wall instead of on top, to prevent loot from getting stuck.

  • Certain cliffs, walls and other big objects nor properly interact with projectiles

  • Minor object placement tweaks, added decorations or overall small prop adjustments

Combat Polish - Parry Improvements

We’ve overhauled the parry system to better support learning and make early-game fights less punishing:

  • Parrying now always provides some form of damage protection, even on imperfect timing.

  • A successful parry now grants a short invulnerability window, in addition to deflecting the attack and stunning enemies.

New Visual Feedback - Heavy Attack Charging

We’ve added a new on-screen effect when charging up heavy attacks to help communicate timing and intention.

MonGirl Conquest - Byaka games

Mongirl Conquest v0.5 is up for download! Your deal with the snow tribe proceeds smoothly. Perhaps even too smoothly? Looks like you aren’t the only one who set their eyes on the island! What will this mean? Check out yourself in the new update!

MonGirl Conquest v0.5 has 2 new scenes. The main artist is on her break for the current month, but we are planning to add a new activity for mongirl interaction or a new scene once she returns. Polar wolf mommy got a doggy scene. You can check it out here. The new girl, young snow owl, gets her first BJ H scene. Here’s the preview.

New features and activities

There’s a new girl in v0.5 version. You can meet young snow owl in the snowy exploration zone. Check out the blue encounter orbs or use magic lamps from exploration/altar quests to create these encounters yourself.

Your new rival will appear and due to some... Foxery, let’s say, you’ll compete with them for the status of the main partner with the snow tribe. This starts the next story arc for the main quest storyline. Just follow the main quest in your journal. The main quest includes a puzzle. Since it’s a part of mandatory content, I’ll post up a solution in my Youtube channel around June 16th. Check it out if you’ll get stuck.

Eve makes a return. She kinda fell out of the picture for quite some time since we were focusing on the new seduction event sample and the whole system. The next goal is getting more activities for girls, and Eve will have some ideas about spicing your bar up. Of course, if you and your girls won’t be against it. Once you’ll prepare the dresses, meet her in the bar to discuss further improvements.

Aside from the bulk of the content, I added a new system for small cutscenes like ones you might see in Yorna or MonGirl Expedition. Some players wanted to see the small, cute exchanges like in previous games. So, I added a system to show these in your house. Just go to sleep and see what happens. Right now, there are 2 mini-cutscenes available: one for Catarina, and another one for Werewolf. To trigger these scenes, you need to upgrade your tent to a proper house and progress the main quest up to the point where you contact the feline tribe. More scenes will arrive in the future updates.

As for the new seduction system, most players (65%) reacted positively to it. We talked with the artist and it seems to be impossible to add fully animated seduction encounters to girls without getting a new artist for commissions. The workload is simply too much to be comfortable for an extended period of time. Since we are already using up all the support funding we have at the moment, we decided to make fully animated seduction events for girls into a goal for 2000 support on Patreon. I’ll make a separate info post after the release with details.

Also, we talked between ourselves about the situation about “next girl” polls being on hold since we have enough characters to populate exploration zones and need to put time into the giving them events and more characterization. So, we ended up with an idea about polling who of the girls will get their extra bar content faster. As I mentioned previously, we are waiting for the main artist to get back from her break to start with the new content for the bar. Each girl will have something of her own stuff, but striptease and some fan service are the top ideas for this right now. What do you think about such polls?

Small fixes and improvements

Fixed a bug that prevented the passive skill to provide correct evasion buff.

Adjusted phoenix’s tail’s description. Now it properly states that the weapon feeds on the wearer’s mana. Mechanic-wise, equipping it lowers your maximum mana pool. It could reach 0. If you decide to switch the weapon to something else, your current mana will still be lowered. Go to sleep or drink a potion to restore it. Hope this will clear up possible confusion.

Fixed snow court geometry and heights map. Now the statues and podium should behave correctly.

Fixed a problem where 2 scenes could start at the same time for werewolf. Players who reported it didn’t provide their saves for detailed troubleshooting, so if you encounter this (or similar) problem – contact me via https://yeehawgames@gmail.com or in any way convenient for you. Just zip up your entire save folder and add it as an attachment. This will make the troubleshooting much easier.

Adjusted description for some skills to make them easier to read and understand.

  • Fixed a visual bug that prevented seeing the machine placement zone.

Demo Build 18868275 include a fix for the reticle location on varying screen resolutions along with new setting to enable/disable the ground reflections, which should help with some visual lagging if desired.

  • New Battle Type (Update 1)Get ready to feel the heat! Our first major update introduces a brand-new battle type… or maybe more than one? We shall see. This update will add fresh tactical depth, challenging you to rethink your strategies and dominate the battlefield in new ways. We cannot wait to share more with you soon!

  • Isle of Thyssic (Update 2)Next, we’re whisking you away to the Isle of Thyssic—a mysterious and breathtaking new area to explore. Expect stunning environments, new challenges, and secrets waiting to be uncovered. This update will expand the Wartorn world and give you plenty of reasons to dive back in.

  • 1.0 LaunchThe grand finale! The full 1.0 launch will bring Wartorn to its complete form, with new features, refined gameplay, and the full story. This is when the game will shine at its brightest, ready to deliver the ultimate fantasy experience.
