Hello Reclaimers,

Playtest 04 is officially live! We’ve just sent out a fresh wave of Closed Alpha invitations, and we’ll be sending out more through the end of this week.

This is by far our largest update of the Closed Alpha, so there’s a whole lot more depth, detail and new features to explore since Playtest 03 back in early July. If you already have access but haven’t played since then, it’s a great time to boot up and see what’s new. A full changelog will be available in our Discord by the end of the day.

For the new invitees, you should receive an email as well as a Steam notification if you’ve been selected for access. We’ve sent out several thousand more invitations via random selection to those on the waiting list, and we'll invite more tomorrow and Friday too.

Attention, Airmen!

The GBU-28 Missile is built to break what others can’t. A true bunker-buster, it cracks the earth wide open and triggers a chain of pressurized geysers that sweep the impact zone!

On detonation, enemies are locked in place for 1.3 seconds under a new visual effect. Every split-second after, geysers erupt in random points across a five-by-five area, up to seven in total, each delivering 82 percent damage within a 2.5 radius.

The missile never runs dry. Fire it whenever the situation turns against you. Its rhythm of timed eruptions keeps pressure on the ground and control in your hands.

Refine the GBU-28 to reach its full potential with faster reloads, increased base damage, full-power geysers, a shorter flight time by 0.4 seconds, and up to three additional geysers added to the sequence.

Precision, power, and sustained impact: this is what dominance looks like from above.

The European Red Fox has received a complete visual and animation overhaul.

Technical Update

Not every change needs to be loud to be heard.
This update brings a few quiet improvements that make Riese run smoother — and feel better.

I fixed issues related to sound and collisions.
I adjusted several elements that didn’t behave as they should.
The result: a more stable and consistent experience — in VR and on screen alike.

I didn’t add new words.
I refined the ones already there.

We have updated the demo version today:

  • Fixed a bug where imported songs could not be deleted.

  • Fixed a bug where the demo would not launch on Mac.

  • Other minor bug and visual effect fixes.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, especially with the bug that prevented the demo from launching on Mac.

As an apology, we have reset the demo playtime (users who have already used up their time can play for another 5 hours) and added one new song.

Hi Adapters!

 

The temperature is dropping – perhaps it’s a good time to evolve some fur and brace for winter. Or maybe hibernating in a cave can be nice too, but there’s no time to rest yet. After Tokyo Game Show I’ve gone through some of the feedback and pushed an update to the demo:

Community Creations

It’s been a while since we last showcased the quirky monsters conjured by our players’ wild imagination. Let’s have a look at what they’ve been up to on Discord!

First up we have Carnicorn, made by ReddyRed. Quoting from the creator, it "looks really silly from the front".

Next we have an attempt to recreate a fire ant from Ellen Joe's Husband (surprised he didn't make a shark). Just need to add some venom and it would be perfect. On the side note, my publishing team was delighted to see some ant representation in the game!
