Euro Truck Simulator 2 - London

Big News Ahead! ⚠️ Today we're excited to share that a free update is coming to owners of the Special Transport DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 in our upcoming 1.57 update. We hope your driving skills are up to scratch, because we've got some new and challenging cargoes coming your way!


Taking the wheel of a truck hauling massive cargo is no easy job. It’s not just about the size of the load, it’s about the skill and focus it takes to handle it. Moving something that big down highways and tight roads is a real test of balance between power and precision. Only the most skilled drivers can pull it off. Think you’ve got what it takes? 

Wind Turbine Blade

This impressive 30-metre giant Wind Turbine Blade is a cargo that demands precision and focus to deliver. Hauled on a specially designed blade hauler semi-trailer, this setup features a 30-metre, 4-axle chassis where every axle is steerable, ensuring maximum control around tight turns. With the trailer itself weighing 20,820 kg and the blade another 5,500 kg, this is a true test of skill for any driver brave enough to take on such a monumental haul.

Underground Loader

This heavy-duty machine has been built for demanding mining operations. It is hauled on a specially built 6-axle low loader trailer, where every axle is steerable to help navigate even the tightest roads. The trailer itself weighs 35,000 kg and stretches 25 metres long, making it the perfect match for carrying this 54,500 kg beast (72,000 kg when loaded). It’s a serious challenge for any driver who’s ready to take on one of our heaviest cargoes in the game.


Naturally, with these new cargoes come new routes! If you're a big fan of the Wind Turbine Blade, drivers will be able to find this Special Transport job contract available from Rostock to Berlin in Germany, and also in our upcoming Nordic Horizons DLC, which will route from Jyväskylä to Vaasa.

Both of these routes will take you from the blade manufacturer directly to a wind turbine construction site. The German route, in particular, will really test your precision, with a tight finish that requires some serious manoeuvring to get into the depot and park the trailer properly.


For the Underground Loader, you’ll be able to pick up this Special Transport job contract available from Dortmund to Hannover, as well as in our upcoming Nordic Horizons DLC from Narvik to Kiruna, which will take you from a service depot to an underground mine!

Archon Soul - PolyGryph

Hey again everyone!

From now until November 21st, the Archon Soul playtest is available for the first 400 players to sign up!

You will be randomly assigned either:

The Pyromancer, who wields the power of many flames.

or...

The Thaumancer, who commands the power of storms.

The demo begins with EVERY spell, rune, and dice body unlocked for that character. The playtest also does not contain the tutorial. With both of these things in mind, it's highly advised that you play the demo first to get a grasp on the fundamentals, if you haven't already:

While I obviously can't make you play with analytics enabled, the purpose of the playtest is to gather data so it's extremely helpful for me as the dev to be able to see the specifics of the runs and to dive further into combat data. I do request that you enable analytics, at the very least for the duration of the playtest. Opting in to analytics for the playtest will not automatically opt you in to analytics for the full or demo versions.

There is a button to send feedback on the main menu and on the pause menu, as well as a button on the pause menu to take you to our bug report submission form. While simply playing the game with analytics enabled is very helpful, I would also love to hear your thoughts!

To celebrate, Easy Delivery Co. will be on sale starting later today, in a couple hours. Or maybe it's already on sale while you are reading this :)

If you encounter any issues with the translation or how words display in-game, please post it in Discord, and fixes will be implemented as soon as possible.

We worked with a wonderful localization partner to bring you Easy Delivery Co. in all these languages, however due to some timing constraints please note that there are a handful (6 to be exact) words in French and Spanish that might not be translated properly.

Bug Fixes:

State was not updating telling the player that they had declared for an election. It now automatically updates the state.

Manage campaign was not taking the player to the campaign screen. This has been fixed.

Both of these issues were with the new election tab.

Throughout this process, we made sure to respond to every comment and stay in touch with you and we will continue to do so.
With the bug fixes and content updates we’ve made, we believe we’ve managed to keep you satisfied.

As of today, our game has reached 10,000 sales and 45,000 wishlists!
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us on this journey.

Now that we’ve left the launch week behind, it’s time to talk a bit about the future:


🛠 November 30 – Minor Update
  • Opening and closing the Marketplace area

We plan to release all of these features with the November 30 update. If there are things we cannot add with this update, the remaining will be added with the next update. During this time, we’ll also be fixing the bugs you’ve reported and working to make controller support as smooth as possible.


⚓ January 30 – “Gülcemal” Update

On January 30, with the “Gülcemal” Update, we’ll be adding Gülcemal, one of the most significant ships in Turkish maritime history, to the game.
Unlike the others, this ship will feature its own story and unique mechanics , you can think of it as a kind of side quest.

Of course, this update will also bring more ships, customers, and new content to the game.
For now, we can share a size comparison between the Gülcemal and one of the existing 3-star ships in the game.


We know you’re excited to see where the story goes next and so are we.
These updates actually play a key role in strengthening and advancing the main narrative.
We’ll have to wait a bit longer for Act 2, but the new content and side stories we’re adding will serve as a solid foundation for what’s to come.

BUGFIXES & CHANGES
  • Save system now creates up to 2 backups to prevent progression loss. The game auto saves every 60 seconds and saves when closing the game through the settings menu. Turning off your PC with the game still opened is not recommended. Although the backups might help if a save file gets corrupted.

  • Improved the Windows related features, such as background transparency and switching monitors. It's still a work in progress, so please let me know if you run into any issues.
