We have two important announcements to share with you:

In our effort to provide a more polished gaming experience and to allow additional time for localization, we’ve decided to delay the game’s release until April 2026. We sincerely appreciate your patience and support, and we promise to make sure the game exceeds your expectations in quality.

Tester Recruitment

We’re excited to announce that we’re now recruiting game testers!

Testers will have the chance to experience the latest game content. We’ll include your name in the "Special Thanks" section of the credits in the game. Additionally, we’ll send you a full-version CD Key as a token of our appreciation. Detailed information will be sent via Discord messages.

Simply visit the bug-reports section in our Discord server, and report a bug or provide a suggestion for the game. We will PM you with further details.

Testers' Tasks:

  • Report any bugs found in the game.

  • Provide suggestions for game improvements.

  • Evaluate the difficulty of game levels and suggest adjustments if needed.

PS: There is no time pressure to participate in the playtest. Feel free to provide feedback at your own pace, helping us improve the game experience together!

Magecraft: Spellbuilding - Violet Grimoire

An additional note: I won't have as much time to work on updates during the next few weeks, so the next patch likely won't come until the weekend of November 22nd.

Change log:

  • The Wolf can now show up in the Workshop even if you’ve chosen the Offering ending.

  • The Ignition buff granted by the Fire Rat’s Grave Gift status now has a max of 3 stacks, matching the standard Ignition buff.

    • For other status effects, if there’s a difference in stack limit between the status you already have vs a status of the same type being newly applied, the overall stack limit will update to match the larger of the two limits.

  • Fixed how special effects (like Hex, Charged Spell, Poisonblight, and Barrier Bash) combine with each other. Combinations of these effects will now only deal damage once (while still combining the special effects, such as the extra damage from Hex, Charge Stacks, etc.).

  • Fixed an issue where adding more than one Multi-Attack effect to certain Spells would continue to increase its damage.

    • For example, Multi-Attack + Hex deals 9 damage twice, but adding another Multi-Attack is meant to deal 9 damage three times rather than deal 14 damage three times.

  • If an enemy with 1 stack of Undying is defeated by a damaging attack that remove the Undying status (such as Sister Jeanne’s Smite attack or spells enhanced by the Blessing power), the enemy will no longer revive.

    • (Previously, the enemy would be defeated and use Undying to revive before the “remove Undying” effect could be applied.)

  • Fixed an issue where the Leech scroll would remove an enemy's "Summon" status.

  • An an informational hover appears if you open the Dungeons popup without a valid deck, directing you to create more Spells in Spellbuilding and add them to the deck before you’re able to enter a Dungeon.

Test results:

0 bug reported from players since ea release and played by a few streamers in 3 player co-op mode.

A few months ago: 2-4 bugs reported by players since the release of the demo version that do not affect gameplay flow.

News for the 0.9.5ea main mod:

- Significant changes to the tutorial. You can now complete the tutorial faster and it's shorter.

- A report no longer disappears instantly after being sent. Everyone now has time to see the suspicious situation.

- You can now see the camera number on the IP buttons.

- The meaning of reports have been cleared now more.

- In version 2.7, a full "Candy Can" can be used to exchange for limited-time costumes.
5.Special Halloween Costumes: "Nota - Twin Axolotls" and "Not - Twin Axolotls"
- In version 2.7, players can use a full "Candy Can" to exchange for these costumes.
6.Special Halloween Opening: "Candy Battle"
- In version 2.7, it will be automatically added to the opening picture pool and appear randomly.
- After obtaining the "Nota - Twin Axolotls" or "Not - Twin Axolotls" costume, this opening picture will be retained after the end of version 2.7.

Hello! Here it is, the bigger update I mentioned previously, addressing the feedback I've received since launch. Here's what has changed:

  • Added additional save slots
  • Added 28 Achievements (some of them will unlock when you load a prior save)
  • You can now decide to only pick up some amount of a stacking item from the storage
  • Elixir of Vitality will now increase HP by 50
  • Changed the color of a tileset in the Ancient Depths to make the slimes more visible
  • Reduced selling price of cursed ashes to 100k coins
  • Added new trait "Golden", which increases amount of coins dropped
  • The gear leveling recipe for Gluttons will now only accept upgrade kits
  • The max level of dropped gear will now be level 30
  • Added new dialog after the first ending to better indicate that the game is not over yet
  • Added a new Glutton recipe to create dream pills
  • Added a new Glutton recipe to create special candies
  • The Music Box is now rewarded after clearing the void
  • Renamed "Celestial" gear to "Necrotic" gear
  • Increased max level of necrotic (former celestial) gear to level 999
  • Renamed "Great Old Ones Blood" to "Necrotic Blood"
  • Added gear bonding system, unlocked via "Necrotic Blood"
  • Some "quest" items like the "Cursed Ashes" will be bonded by default, letting you not lose them on death

Hello everyone!
Thank you all for continuing to play Doll Impostor!
I’m pleased to announce that the next major update is now in development!



This update is scheduled to be finished by November 30.
However, since it’s a large one with a lot of new content, there’s a chance it might be delayed — though a Beta version is expected to be available later this month.

This time, the Beta will last for at least one full week, as this is the first 100% multiplayer mode that cannot be played in singleplayer. Actions must be fully replicated between players, which makes the process more complex.

New Features & Additions
Character Creator — Create your own characters and use different outfits!
Outfits will receive more content over time, just like the Caravan and the Shelter.

“Stop bullied my guardian” Sticker — A fun nod to the community joke about physically “bullying” the robot and dragging it around the map.

DLSS Support — Better performance for NVIDIA users!

New Extra Mode: Double or Nothing

Bug Fixes & Community Improvements — Based on your feedback from Discord, Steam, and the in-game “Did you enjoy it?” tab.

VR Enhancements — Several improvements to the VR experience.

The Star of This Update: Impostor Mode
The new Impostor Mode will start as a kind of Classic experience under Nightmare difficulty.
Between 1 to 3 players will be investigators, and 1 player will take the role of the impostor.

The Impostor begins by performing actions and setting up the crime scene, with one minute to plan everything based on their likes and dislikes.
Meanwhile, investigators remain asleep until the setup phase ends. Once it’s over, the impostor can no longer move and must wait for the investigators to figure out who they are.

However, the impostor can trigger sounds from their position and enter a ghost mode as a “dark essence” — not just waiting idly, but influencing the scene.
In this form, they can also interact with the environment (open/close doors, etc.). This system will later be expanded into the Ghost Mode after death in future updates.

For example, if players turn on the lights, the impostor might turn them off — or, since it’s Nightmare difficulty, they might choose to do nothing at all to make detection harder.

This mode will keep evolving with future updates, adding features like selecting your impostor, refining mechanics, and introducing new interactions.

How Do I Get Rewards?

You'll need a Tier III or higher vehicle to participate.

 

The Operation has two progression paths, each offering 60 levels with rewards. The first path is available to all regular Pass holders—so, everyone! The second path offers more rewards and is exclusively available to Premium Pass holders. Complete the Operation missions to boost your Pass level and earn rewards.

 

Just keep in mind that while your Pass level will increase automatically, you'll need to take action to collect the rewards. 

What Are the Rewards?

Tons of resources, a Collector tank, themed warpaints and avatars, a profile background, certificates that provide XP bonuses for victories, and a Legendary camo for a researchable Tier VIII vehicle!
