Legacy of Valor - kholat

Inside the historic chapel of Brandýs nad Labem Castle, we recorded the official soundtrack of Legacy of Valor with a live symphonic orchestra, solo vocalists, and a full choir. The unique acoustics within the ancient stone walls of this remarkable architecture gave every note extraordinary depth and resonance, turning the music into something truly alive.

SUPPORT US ON KICKSTARTER

Composed by Petr Folta and performed by the NEOM Orchestra, this soundtrack captures the soul of Legacy of Valor: the quiet tension before battle, the clash of steel, and the enduring spirit of honor and glory.

We had goosebumps hearing these melodies. Every note carries our vision forward, toward a world that feels truly alive, epic, and worthy of its name. The atmosphere feels on par with major world productions, and Legacy of Valor is not aiming any lower.

If you love the music and believe in the project, please share the video and our Kickstarter campaign. Tag your favorite content creators and help us bring Legacy of Valor to the place it truly belongs, into the hands of players who will enjoy it in its full glory.

Tamer: King of Dinosaurs - NandoKRN

Hey everyone!

This update will introduce you to some challenges we encountered while working on the Stampede Sequence and Sheela's Romance.

It's been very rewarding to see the world of Tamer: King of Dinosaurs come to life while listening to all the feedback you brought us.

Don't forget to wishlist it!

Creating this sequence has proven incredibly challenging because of the logistics of including three massive triceratops running behind Victor and Sheela. Keeping these giants moving smoothly within the confines of the environment is challenging, but we've done a good job of it so far, aside from a few minor sections of the track that require additional work.

Coming up with interactions that could utilize the trikes also took some creative brainstorming, but we ultimately found a few fun setups that are working well for us. Pulling off the part where the water extinguishes the fire in front of the player was something we really enjoyed.

This sequence will be made available for testing in the October build later this month.

Sheela Chinese Celebration Outfit

We're finishing Sheela's Chinese outfit, and we've posted a short preview video of it in action on our public Discord.

Stampede!

We have completed the most complex animation sequence in the game, which is the stampede that happens on day 5.

We need to finish the sound design for this, but once that's done, we plan to post a preview here. For such a small team and budget, it's crazy how we pulled this off!

One-Eye Chase & Trel vs the Birds

Look at how scary and badass this fucking Utahraptor is, you guys. Holy hell. This bro is about to chase you through the jungle and try to claw your goddamn face off and eat you and shit.

Are you a bad enough dude to shoot him in the face with a bunch of arrows to keep your harem safe?

We've talked about this character (One-Eye) several times before, but just to reiterate, he's a "Nemesis" style baddy that you encounter several times throughout the game as he tries to chomp Sheela as revenge for shooting him through the dome with an arrow that somehow didn't kill him and only made him more pissed off.

This chase sequence is going to be one of the most intense of the game. We expect to wrap production around the end of this month, so our next internal build will be loaded with TWO chase sequences for you to try!

We're still polishing his animation in particular, but the general direction and flow of the sequence is pretty set at this point. It's also missing the ending, which we don't want to spoil right this moment, but those who get to play our upcoming build will see it!

We'll also be adding more NSFW content, but we're still sorting out who the lucky girl is going to be, so we'll get back to you about that soon.

Galmine Render

We recreated one of Tamer's original art pieces in 3D for promo purposes with Galmine, so have a look and let us know how we did:

Trel vs the Birds

If you've read book 1 of Tamer: King of Dinosaurs, then you know (MORE SPOILERS) that Trel has a scene where she saves Victor and Sheela from a swarm of orange birds by finally picking up a spear and solo destroying dozens of them.

This is by far the most complex animation sequence in the entire game in terms of character work, and it took a lot of work, but we're 95% done at this point. Now we just need to add lighting and VFX as well as sound, and then we'll have a preview available for you.

For now, you can enjoy some very rough screenshots:

Trel NSFW Scene Previews & Animations

Speaking of spider mommy, Trel's romance scenes are almost finished now as we're currently polishing the orgasm animations and importing them.

We're still in discussions about when to include her in our internal demo tests, but she may be the next girl, and if not, she will be available by the end of the year.

Here are a few previews below:

Trel NSFW Scene Lighting

Have you ever seen a literal lighting bug? Here's Victor experiencing that while plowing Trel on a mountainside.

Sheela Romance Scene

A small detail, but an important one - we're finishing up Sheela's romance scene with Victor now, which features a full strip sequence. This requires us to do all sorts of little tricks to make the removal of her clothes look realistic without having to do anything too difficult.

Part of this is creating a simulation so we can actually do it in the game's engine, like all our cutscenes, rather than do pre-recorded video files.

Sheela Undressing

We're still working out the kinks in Sheela's big undressing sequence, and we're at the point where the boobies are properly popping, but the bikini and panty slide still needs work.

We also need to clean up the performance capture so her arms don't go through the previously mentioned boobies, and that will be a later step since we're still busy with a lot of other scenes now. But rest assured, this sequence is gonna be legendary.

Sheela NSFW Scene

We're wrapping up the animation for Sheela's first NSFW scene, and this thing is turning out so kino we can hardly contain our excitement. Here are some preview shots for you, but please note these are all rough with no lighting, and Sheela's gonna be buck naked in the final product after the first shot.

Carnotaurus Cave

We recently completed this basic but crucial environment that's needed for a few cutscenes towards the end of the game. While the sequences that stem from the Carnotaurus nest map are indeed a significant deviation from the books, the action itself is pretty similar.

MILD SPOILERS AHEAD - The tribe will find a carnotaurus nest in the valley and need to do something about it before they are overrun with predators. How they handle it will be revealed once you get to the final day, and the chase sequence that initiates afterwards will be one of the most brutal we'll be including.

Kentrosaurus Testing

Four-legged enemies are tricky to integrate into action games, so we're currently giving some attention to the Kentrosaurus and getting it online. This guy is meant to serve as an early difficulty spike as the second enemy you encounter after the deinonychus.

Upgraded Spear Animations

Victor's old placeholder attacks are getting tossed out, and now we have some real spear-slinging going on. We'll have some previews of the combat system in action by the end of the year, so you can know what to expect from Tamer, which is a lot of dinosaurs getting brutally eviscerated by primitive weapons.

What's Next?

Next month, we'll be wrapping up the One-eye chase and will show you some pictures of that. Expect a new skin for Trel coming from our supporters' poll and, possibly, a Christmas skin!

Thank you so much for your support. Don't forget to wishlist Tamer: King of Dinosaurs! See you next month!

Carthage: Bellum Punicum - mindebyte

Hello everyone,

Over the past two months I focused on improving how battle maps are created in Carthage: Bellum Punicum. When a campaign battle starts, the game takes the area between both armies on the campaign map and generates a full-scale battle map from it. The terrain matches the campaign map but in much greater detail, covering roughly 12 by 12 kilometers.

Each terrain feature, like rivers, mountains, forests, and roads, is processed with its own algorithm to bring out realistic shapes and patterns. Settlements were the most challenging, as I also wanted them to be easy for future modders to customize. After a lot of work, the result is already solid. Every culture, from Carthaginians and Romans to Gauls and Iberians, has unique settlement layouts and buildings, reflecting their historical identity.

I’ve also been working on the campaign fog of war. Undiscovered areas appear like an ancient map, showing only terrain features such as coastlines, rivers, and mountains. As the player moves armies or scouts, the map gradually reveals itself.

I’m also sharing a screenshot of the faction selection for the Iberian campaign. For now, it includes only Iberian factions, but more will be added as the campaign expands.

Hope you liked this update, see you in the next one!

Vanguard Galaxy - Arnie

Hello everyone,

We've got an update with a bunch of fixes. There will be more news soon on how we will progress with further updates.

Fixes

- Autopilot no longer gets stuck in a loop between asteroid field and space station if a core mining mission is accepted with a surface miner equipped

- Further improvements of the autopilot behavior when a mission cannot be completed

- The autopilot cannot cheat travel anymore, when the cargo hold is over capacity for example

- Fixed Locate button returning an empty map in some occasions

- Clicking an asteroid or salvageable ship no longer cancels emergency travel

- Fixed an issue when destroying a ship could create an "empty" item that corrupts the game state

- Fixed Small Mining Autocannon only having a Standard rarity recipe

- Fixed Trade Terminal containing no items for some players

- Fixed "Ancient Surface Plates" and "Ancient Surface Fiber" not giving any refinement result while being able to refine them

- Fixed gatling turrets reloading incorrect amounts when on low ammo

- Fixed being able to install Medium weapons in Small slots in some circumstances

- Mines won't trigger while you're travelling into a POI, potentially causing mines spawn camping the player

Balance

- Leaving the prologue area no longer heavily restricts what items/credits you can bring along

- Changed crafting values of the small mining autocannon

- Changed the name Structural Component to Skeleton Frame (Hopefully making the Gate Construction mission more clear)

- Increased range of the Deployable Mining Turret

We're glad to see a lot of you already enjoying Vanguard Galaxy, let us know what you think here on Steam or on our Discord.

Cheers,
