After 16 months of development, my second game's Steam Page is live! I've learned so much during, and following, the launch of World Turtles and I'm now ready to set out on that road again, with a backpack filled with the experience and skills I've gathered along the way.

Minor Deity: Command the elements to create the landscapes of your imagination in this gridless interactive sandbox. Control dynamic weather and allow vegetation and animals to flourish. Lay out towns for growing populations, establish resource outposts, and encourage trade via road, river and sea routes.

We noticed that many players had difficulties progressing from the starting room.
For now, we’ve temporarily removed the voice mechanic — you can now simply exit the room without using the microphone.

This will let everyone continue exploring the demo without getting stuck. The mechanic may return later in an improved form.

October is a month full of festivals and seasonal changes all around the world.

In some countries, it’s the season of autumn leaves and harvest, while in others, spring flowers and fresh sprouts are in bloom. Globally, October also brings well-known festivals such as Halloween and the Day of the Dead.

For this contest, you can freely choose from October’s representative themes and join in with your own style:

• Global festivals like Halloween or Day of the Dead

• Seasonal vibes like autumn harvest and leaves or spring blossoms and sprouts

Express your take on October’s spirit, capture the moment in a screenshot, and share it in the #oct_snapshot_event channel.

Entries selected through community votes and the operations team will be featured in-game during October, so adventurers around the world can enjoy them together.

• Winning screenshots will be featured as in-game loading screens from Oct 25 (Sat) – Nov 3 (Mon)

  • Dates may be subject to change depending on operational needs

• Winners will be announced on Oct 23 (Thu) in the Discord #Server Event channel

• Images must be under 10MB, at least 1080P, and in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.

• Winning entries will be used as loading screens between Oct 25 – Nov 3, though dates may be adjusted or extended as needed.

• Submissions containing inappropriate content or copyrighted material will be removed without notice, and community restrictions may apply.

• In case of a tie in community votes, the final decision will be made by the Operations Team.

• Only heart emoji reactions will be counted as valid votes. Other emojis will not be included.

• Excessive vote solicitation, use of bots, or multiple accounts will result in disqualification.

• Submissions that use stolen screenshots, heavy edits, or external graphics not related to gameplay will be disqualified (basic brightness/color adjustments are allowed).

• Entries that are deemed not to fit October’s contest themes (Halloween, Day of the Dead, seasonal vibes, etc.) may be excluded regardless of vote count.

• Each participant may only enter once. If multiple screenshots are submitted, only the most recent entry will be counted.

• Winning screenshots may appear slightly different from the original due to adjustments for loading screen specifications. This is part of the normal process, and the original intent of the work will be respected as much as possible.
