Fixes

  • Fixed sun not being blocked (rash activating and/or temperature going up) if you interact with a bed that is inside a shelter, while standing outside of such shelter.

  • Fixed conditions applying damage while the game is paused.

Quality of Life

Shelter

  • Swimming prevents rashes, regardless if your head is under the water or not.

  • Temperature and sun exposure time is completely forgiven on old saves. The default regular temperature will be loaded. Since the math is different, the exposure time was triggering rashes or heatstrokes within a few seconds of loading the old saves on the new version sometimes.

  • Sun shelter check is now made from the POV towards the sun, instead of towards directly above the player. This fixes some areas, like big rocks or trees, not preventing rashes.

  • Increased the sun shelter distance from 7m to 50m.

  • Sun exposure time threshold for rashes has been increased from 4 minutes to 5 (real time, game time can vary).

  • Sun exposure time threshold for heatstroke has been increased from 6 minutes to 7 (real time, game time can vary).

  • Increased temperature threshold for heatstroke to be closer to 40C (104F).

  • Shelter regulates body heat 2 times as effective.

Consumption

  • Aloe gel, which protects you from sunlight and prevents rashes, lasts 28% longer.

  • Aloe gel now requires 2 aloe leaves instead of 3.

  • Burnt food (regular, crab, bird and fish meats, potato) is more effective against food poisoning.

  • Eucalyptus is more effective against infections.

  • Mint tea and peppermint tea is more effective against food poisoning.

  • Ginger tea and yucca tea is more effective against parasites.

  • Cinchona bark tea is more effective against poison.

  • Tobacco is more effective against poison.

IMPROVEMENTS
  • UI : Added character customization.

  • UI : Added a popup to see stat changes after an evolution.

  • UI : Re-added the feedback button that brings you to the steam forum.

  • UI : Added skill names to skill icons to differentiate them.

  • UI : Added some characters to text inputs so you can finally name your tulpa "xX_DeathAngel_Xx".

  • UI : Improved the look of the element chart.

  • Overworld : Added several trainer battles.

  • Overworld : Defeating trainers unlock their clothes and stuff.

  • Overworld : Whether or not tulpas join in against you is now based on whether they are chasing you and if you are reachable instead of being distance-based.

  • Overworld : You are now considered "sneaking" while not moving and on controller your detection range is based on how fast you are moving.

  • UX : Clicking on a monster in the formation before battles selects it.

  • Sound : Added an evolution jingle.

  • Animation : Gave everyone a cooler walk cycle.

  • Animation : Added scene transition animations to doors, waking up and battles.

  • Animation : Changed the death animation of trainers.

  • Animation : Added a falling-asleep/waking-up animation.

  • General : Changed some tulpa sizes and descriptions for consistency.

  • General : Improved venomiel's texture.

BALANCE CHANGES
  • Battle : Reduced healing in general.

  • Battle : Capped recoil damage to how much health the target had left.

  • Battle : Dodge chance is now more consistent throughout the game.

  • Battle : Made catching low level tulpas easier.

  • Battle : Made Insect-type strong against Normal-type but weak against itself.

  • Battle : Damage and healing are now rounded down to 1 instead of 0.

  • Battle : Retrieving and then re-summoning tulpas no longer remove their status effects.

BUG FIXES
  • Battle : Fixed a bug where starting a battle without a tulpa but later summoning it from the reserve wouldn't award it experience.

  • UI : Made element unlocking more reliable.

  • Overworld : Fixed several edge cases based around entering battle immediately after entering a door or pausing right as you get attacked.

KNOWN ISSUES
  • Overworld : Sometimes, switching clothes rapidly causes the wrong textures or models to load. This is purely visual and fixes itself when changing clothes again or closing and reopening the game.

Mechanized Corps: Rebirth - mutexer (MGT)
This patch contains the new game mode mini nuke plus a new map Arctic Outpost! Full change log below:

Patch 0.2.3.002 Notes:
  • New game mode Mini Nuke. A nuke drops in the map and you have to grab the nuke before anyone else and take it to the base of the enemy and detonate it. If a nuke is deployed at your base you have to disarm it before it detonates.
  • New Map Arctic Outpost available for skirmish and mini nuke
  • Sector 7 now has mini nuke gameplay mode available in Instant Action and Multiplayer.
  • AI now knows how to play mini nuke gameplay.
  • Number of respawns now defaults to 3 on all game modes.
  • Fixed a few bugs with tree destruction so weapon interaction with trees works better now.
  • You can drop the nuke by pressing N (default key)
  • Foilage/Trees was updated on Sector 7.
  • Updated the weather and lighting on sector7, The Octagon, Badlands Arena
  • Enemy Base Marker now hides when the deploy marker is shown on mini-nuke once you pickup the nuke.
  • indicator icons are more visible now and changed art a bit.
  • Fixed an issue where AI could get stuck on a building on the defender side of sector 7.
Debugging Hero - ETTU
Fixed an issue where activating Wind Cloak’s ability would conflict with the newly added buff system.
Fragile Packages: Handle with Care - Jon Warner Studios

Thanks all who have played Fragile Packages: Handle with Care and those who have also provided feedback. I've made a number of changes that should improve the experience.

Gameplay changes:

  • Tutorial improvements to help guide a new player, from finding, placing and locking their first of many packages to exploring the city.

  • Daily Anomaly Challenge does not start until Day 2 to give you time to explore the city more.

  • Updated anomaly instructions.

  • Anomaly hints are now given when incorrect to help guide you towards what to look out for.

  • Fixed some packages got suspended in air without being locked via Fragile Tape.

  • Reduced fall damage audio volume.

  • Fixed a minor background music wrongly selected.

UI changes:

  • Fixed loading/transitions screens which were flashing or dark.

  • Music and Audio volume default to 50%.

  • New Explore popup when exiting on first day.

  • Hasty Return confirmation.

  • Updated Credits.

Hardly Workin' - SnazzySoda04

Hi all! Thank's so much for all the support and wish-lists.

As we approach mid-summer I thought I'd post a little news update to keep everyone in the loop!

Hardly Workin' is under review now! We plan to release the game free to play as soon as humanly

possible :)

What this means? Hardly Workin' could release as soon as June 28th!! (In a perfect world).

Likely our release will be sometime during the first week of July.

A HUGE thank you to all of our friends, family, professors, and fellow developers for all the support

and for making something like this possible. The development of Hardly Workin' was some of the

most fun we've had working on a student project.

While you'll likely not see a release from SleepySlothStudios again, I bid you to keep an eye out for

our team scattered in the projects coming up next year!

Sorry for yapping but lastly, HUGE thank you to the entire Sleepy Sloth team for their hard and dedicated

work. This has been such a treat, and I can't wait to see what you guys cook up in the coming years.

UNDERGROUNDED - nakajima

Scott, a young man from Manhattan, finally pops the question to his girlfriend... who promptly says "no."

He's so dejected that he accidentally drops the ring he used to propose into a storm drain.

The ring keeps falling deeper and deeper underground. It falls down into the sewers, then further down into... a movie theater?

Wait, is that a jet plane? Huh? Why are we in the Old West now? What are cowboys doing underground?

Turns out that deep below Manhattan there's an underground dungeon where America's past lives on!

Will Scott be able to traverse it far enough to find his ring?
