FlashBoss is a study tool in RPG armor. Words arrive in clusters of about two dozen, spaced repetition brings each one back as it starts to fade, and a boss fight at the end of every cluster refuses to let you past until its hardest words are yours. English Core carries tiers 1–5; Pareto 1 and Pareto 2 add tiers 6–15 — 3,000 words in all, each with an English example sentence and study notes.

And English arrives speaking your language: every card carries its translations and study notes in German, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Spanish, and all 70 reference lessons are readable in those languages too. Study English through whichever you call home. The base game also ships with English Advance and English Adept free — the paperwork English that runs a life, and the vocabulary of saying what you mean.

Please note: English Core, Pareto 1 and Pareto 2 are a course for learners of English — they teach through the game's other languages (German, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Russian) and are not playable in English alone. English Advance, English Adept and the Roots packs are the English-language packs for native speakers.
