Two indie games that look harmless and then somehow eat your entire evening, made by two totally harmless studios from Europe.

In Dorfromantik, you place tiles to build calm, pretty landscapes. Forests, villages, rivers, railways - everything fits together nicely, until you realize you’ve been “just placing one more tile” for the last 3 hours. It’s relaxed, thoughtful, and quietly addictive.

Stacklands is a card-based game where stacking things is a perfectly reasonable life choice. Build villages, manage resources, and accidentally create problems that definitely weren’t there an hour ago. Simple on the surface, surprisingly deep underneath.

Together, Dorfromantik and Stacklands are about small actions, unexpected outcomes, and the joy of watching systems slowly spiral (in a nice way).
