The Darkest Files takes place after the war in 1956. The war is over, but justice is not served. Former Nazis walk free, while their victims lie in unmarked graves. All Quiet in the Trenches is a narrative turn-based strategy game set in World War I. As a German Unteroffizier, you are responsible for a handful of men whose physical and mental well-being is threatened by the war. Time and time again, you will have to choose between the needs of your soldiers and the demands of your superiors, resulting in a unique story each time. Your decisions will not change the war. But they will change the lives of your soldiers.
