For those of you who want to do so, we recommend this "Haken wo Nigire", a strategic-level wargame on a nationwide scale in Japan, developped by Flying Panjandrum.

It is the same as "Shikokushi Deluxe" in that it is set in a virtual modern (?) Japan where each prefecture is an "independent country", and most of the prefectures are in financial ruin.

Since the local allocation tax is not available, prefectures are encouraged to strengthen their prefectural power by issuing a series of "municipal bonds", NOT government bonds, and to do everything possible to defeat the other prefectures in Japan!

Underground Defense Force (by Yakuentei - tactical-level)

Swarms of giant mutated insects attack from the terrestrial world contaminated by an ancient nuclear war! Use the power of Sword and Sorcery (S&S) to defend the "Underground World", the last sanctuary of mankind!

This is a tactical-level simulation game with a system that differs greatly from the two aforementioned games. So-called tactical RPG style with turn-based, emphasizing exhilaration, speed of game experience, and hack-and-slash systems.

Use wide AoE (= area of effect) magic and other techniques to go on the RAMPAGE against swarms of ant-type monsters that spit acid, swarms of giant spider-type monsters that spit threads, and other terrible creatures!
