The Geneforge Saga is a true indie game cult classic. Sprawling, unique, and innovative, the five games in this epic were released twenty years ago. They had complex stories in a unique world. They were completely open-ended. You could join any of a multitude of factions, scorch the world with your personal army of custom-made mutant monsters, or play the pacifist and use diplomacy and trickery to reach any ending without every attacking a foe.
