Why Early Access?

“Manaulyn is a game being developed by a team in college for a specific class. We would like to continue working on this past the end of the class we are making it for. We want to make the best game we possibly can for the players. Through player feedback, we hope to improve how the game feels to play. While the initial version will be fun to play, we would like to drive the future progress and style of the game with community feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Around a year is the goal. We would like to finish it up within one school year of now. If needed, another semester or two past that may be necessary.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have more levels, a more ingrained story, and a hub world.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It has two levels done, and has one character to play as.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan on increasing the price once early access is ended.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want community feedback so we can continue to improve the game and turn it into something worth the player's time and money.”
