Why Early Access?

“Early Access will allow me to continue developing the game while receiving valuable input from the community. It's taking a while to build this game, and I want people who play it to feel it was worth the wait.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“That's a great question! My goal is to release the full story in late 2024, but with my day job taking up so much time it might stretch into early/mid 2025. So we'll just have to see.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to have four additional chapters that branch based on earlier decisions, as well as a couple of bonus stories and a behind-the-scenes interview with Clash and friends! It will also have smoother visual transitions, improved variety of music/sound, and Steam achievements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version features the first four chapters of the game plus an introduction that summarizes Clash: Robot Detective. It technically has achievements already, but they're are tracked in-game only.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will see a 25% price increase in the final release version. WOW COOL MATHS.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm hoping people will be able to catch errors - coding, spelling, and grammatical - that I overlook. I also want to hear people's thoughts, opinions, and (constructive) criticism about the current story and potential story paths.”
