What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Plebs has been a hobby of mine for many years now and I want to let people start playing the game, although I know that it is far from being complete. As I continue to improve the game and add features, Nations, and levels, I want to get feedback from players to make sure the game is fun to play and the experience is heading in the right direction before a full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I aim to have a full version complete before 2026, although I hope to continue adding content after the full release too.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I have at least three more nations planned, each with their own campaigns. I would like to implement multiplayer, a random map generator, a map editor, and a bunch more mechanics to make levels more fun and dynamic.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core mechanics (listed in the About This Game section) are implemented, including the first playable nation, the Greeks.
The single-player experience is fully playable with multiple levels and campaign to play through.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase a small amount when fully released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Gameplay feedback and bug-fixes will help move Plebs towards a full release and make sure the game is as fun as possible.

About This Game

Pleb is a casual real-time strategy game that places players in an unexplored land ripe for expansion and conquest. Set in a time with ancient Nations, you are tasked with leading a civilization to prosperity and dominance. The key to victory lies in efficiently gathering resources from the land, expanding your towns, building a diverse army, and outsmarting opponents through cunning tactics.

Resource management is the foundation of Plebs. You must collect various natural resources such as wood, stone, food, and metals, from the surrounding land. Each level offers a unique challenge, exploring the map to establish a steady supply of resources is key. You begin with a small settlement and a limited pool of resources, but with careful planning and strategic decision-making, you can flourish into a formidable empire.

Expand your Settlement

Each building has a unique purpose, be it harvesting natural resources, growing food, expanding your town, refining metals, training soldiers, or expanding your population. As you grow and upgrade your town, new buildings will become available enabling better tools or stronger soldiers.

Being a Pleb is tiring work, growing or catching food is a must to ensure your population keeps working at full capacity.

Refine Metals

Tools and weapons can be created with any metal, but providing your workers and soldiers with higher-level metals makes them more effective.

Building a powerful and versatile army is crucial for survival and success. Each unit type has strengths and weaknesses, and careful army composition is vital to counter enemy forces effectively.
